How Donald Trump Could Become Dictator Of The United States

Yesterday afternoon I watched a man named John Dean on television. In the early 1970's he was the personal attorney to President Richard M. Nixon. John Dean was at Nixon's side during the whole Watergate crisis. He is truly an expert in US Constitution crisis.

What brought Nixon down was a US Supreme Court decision requiring him to turn over all tape recordings made in the oval office. Dean described Nixon as very competent and highly-experienced in government. He then compared Trump to Nixon.(Trump in his eyes is an idiot.) He was quite concerned that when Trump faces a constitutional crisis, he will not obey court orders or leave office if ordered to do so. What he hinted would follow would be a dictatorship.

Elena and I are veterans of military dictatorships in South America. Elena points out that South America never had the strong tradition of democracy that we have here. She's right except for the case of Chile.

How would Trump move to dictator? He can do it without the support of the military, law enforcement agencies, etc. When Trump disobeys an order and creates a constitutional crisis, his friend Vladimir Putin puts his nuclear weapons on a high-alert status. An ultimatum is issued to the United States: "Any effort to impede Donald Trump or remove him from office will be met with a full Russian nuclear attack on the United States." Obviously Trump would control the US nuclear weapons so Putin would have no fear of retaliation. What we would have is a condition out of chess games: "checkmate."

This is just a simulation or a war game. It is also serious "Food for thought."

Querida Elena, Pedro, David, Ron, Ana, Bárbara, Anna, Matheus, Flavio y Carla:

Also, Darth Vader could point the deathstar gun at Cincinnati. Now we know of two ways he could become dictator.
