If this doesn't prove that gun control doesn't work, I'm not sure what else can be said.
California has the strictest gun controls in the nation. Prop 63. Ammo background checks. Assault Rifles banned (by name and features). Hand gun safety roster. 10 day cooling period. 1 gun purchase per month. San Francisco doesn't have a single operating FFL in the city that can even sell a firearm to regular citizens.
Can we finally put this myth to rest?
No need, this deserves its own thread. I will cross post the info here. You might update the headline that there are 4 confirmed dead, including gunman.

Four UPS employees, including gunman, are dead in San Francisco mass shooting this morning. Location is UPS facility on Potrero Hill, immediately adjacent to I-101 SOUTHbound lanes. Exact location is 17th St and Utah St/SanBrunoSt.
Postal or UPStal? Is there a difference?
They'll just deliver the packages full of bullet holes and blame it on the sender as they drop kick it off the back of the truck.
The next thing he knew, he said, "a mob of UPS drivers" was running down the street screaming "shooter, shooter."
I wonder if they were men screaming instead of hollering? I know my first instinct would be to holler "shooter, shooter" while I was running instead of just running and taking cover.
San Francisco (AP) -- A UPS employee opened fire at a San Francisco package delivery facility on Wednesday, injuring four and prompting a massive police response in a neighborhood near downtown, officials said.
UPS spokesman Steve Gaut told The Associated Press that an employee fired inside the facility before the drivers were sent out to do their normal daily deliveries. Gaut said four people were injured and that he believed the shooter "turned the gun on himself."
Gaut did not have immediate information about anyone's condition. Nor did Brent Andrew, spokesman for Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, which had received the victims. He did not know exactly how many people.
Auto shop owner Robert Kim said he heard about five to eight rapid gunshots. The next thing he knew, he said, "a mob of UPS drivers" was running down the street screaming "shooter, shooter."
Police confirmed the shooting at the facility in the Potrero Hill neighborhood, about 2 ½ miles from downtown San Francisco but didn't release further information.
