Look at the control of the schools and media and then look at the following section on Propaganda:

The co-opting of Taxpayers resources towards a socialist agenda in schools and in print from media happen comcomitantly with the rise of Bolshevik Propaganda. This referenced article in the New York Times is presented as a good idea with hopes that people wont remember the Bolsheviks or Communism, or who dont realize that the GDP of Russia has been the size of Italy for over 100 years.

Then the article points out that Russia/Germany and the East were just "Socialism done wrong". And how are the Cubas and Venezuelas working out today?
