Rightist logic: Therefore the tax must have caused the violence to rise.
Once more conservatives on the right prove they can't do math. Clearly Goran_K hasn't heard of lurking variables. Gun violence was going up, which is why the tax on firearms was introduced with the intent to use the tax to find ways to decrease the violence. But that didn't work immediately, so no gun control measure could ever possibly work. Please ignore all of Australia because that evidence contradicts this diatribe.
The bottom line is that there are too many guns carried by too many unqualified and hot tempered people in America. And if bullets cost $10k each, people would be much less likely to shoot others.
