Gentle Reader,
I must ask, has Jeff Sessions scooped out what ever is left of his brains? He wants to start the War on Drugs again? Didn't someone tell him that we already had that war. We lost, and the drugs won.

So what, exactly, qualifies Jeff Sessions as USAG? A river of denial so wide it looks like an ocean? He starts the War on Drugs again with all of it's brutal SWAT raids, asset forfeiture, gun fights, life in prison sentences, and on and on, and we will still spend billions of dollars with nothing to gain.

President Pouty Poo is who we need to haul to account for this. What? PPP thinks he can win this time? Like he thought he could just dream up a better health care law?

Regards,
Roidy

The purpose of the War on Drugs is not to stop drug use or addiction. The purpose is to purge the voter role of blacks and other minorities that vote democrat. Let felons and prisoners vote and you'll see republicans not giving a damn about the war on drugs.

This is true. I'm not really commenting on the motivation of the War on Drugs. What I'm irritated about is the continual pursuit of this hopeless mess.

Ah, but the drug war is doing exactly what it is intended to do. So the republican's actions, although pure evil, are rational.

Small Government

Less Taxes
Free Market

Freedom
States Rights

Is it possible to be for any or all of those things and simultaneously support the Federal Government Prohibition of Cannabis and Hemp?

No. All of them would support freedom of pot usage.

Law & Order
Black markets create violent crime. They also prevent victims of crime from having the protection of the law and the police.

Small Government
Small government would write fewer laws and restrict fewer behaviors.

Personal Responsibility
Personal responsibility demands that each individual be allowed to make his or her own decisions.

Less Taxes
Less taxes would be needed to enforce drug laws and to impression those who commit drug offenses. Legalizing pot would also have prevented the opioid epidemic currently ravaging America.

Free Market
A free market would only exist if alternative goods like pot could compete with other pain killers.

Lower Prices
Same as free market.

Made in America
If legal, it would be cheaper to produce pot locally than to ship it.

Domestic Jobs
Same as prior item.

Freedom
Obviously freedom is prohibited by drug laws.

States Rights
Although a state's right argument would imply that states that legalize pot override the federal government's prohibition, no conservative stands by his state's rights beliefs when the states are trying to do something he doesn't want like legalizing pot. It's pure hypocrisy and clear evidence that state's rights is complete bullshit.

In any case, the federal government should be ensuring the rights of individual to decide whether or not to smoke pot.

And once again, I've never smoked pot in my life. So my advocacy for legalization is not based on selfishness like those who want it to stay illegal.

Give a few Idiots a joint and they think they can shut down Washington DC, throw bricks and set shit on fire.
Way to blow it Millennials. I'm fine copping my weed from my guy on the down low. Neither one of us are out acting the fool, and we're mature to just do it and shut up about it.

On a similar note. Bill Clinton has been quoted as saying if they would just make it legal for him to have sex with anyone he wanted, then he wouldn't have to rape

You're thinking of Bill Cosby.

Sorry Roidy, people are too busy worrying about gays and trans-people that they secretly wish would reem them, to discuss minor issues of no significance like this, just as the Founding Fathers intended

Gentle Reader,

Really? That's sad. I hope it isn't true.

Help! Apocalypse!
