No. Duh.

There are a couple of problems here:

1. Too much diversity. Diversity destroys communities by lowering civic engagement. People no longer understand or care about each other. They don't have a common past and don't see a common future. In very diverse communities no one puts much effort into fixing things because they don't see them as "our things".

2. Lack of conductors. Caltrain does not have these problems because they always have at least two human conductors roaming the trains.

NYC subway is perfectly fine, and they have too much diversity. I took it almost anywhere at anytime for 8 years with no issue, other than just the crazies (which came in all shapes and sizes).

BART sounds more like a welfare babysitting service. LA transit is similar. Buses driving around all day with criminals and dead beats and welfare mooches that have nothing else to do with their permanent vacation but stay out of the heat.
