Investors running around wild on rental properties on top of shitty supply is a recipe for disaster.

Another solution is for the potential homeless is to go where there are are a surplus of homes and low rents.
But they would rather be homeless, so why should anyone care for them?

People really shouldn't stay in Los Angeles if they make marginal incomes.

I'd leave in a heartbeat if I could replace 75% of my income anywhere else.

Yup. Especially if they had kids. What kind of parents would want their kids to be homeless if they could go to a more affordable town? Those parents are child abusers, and should have their children taken away from them and placed with more responsible families.
