Baltimore has long been the murder capital of the U.S. In 2016, the city of 621,849 had 318 murders that's 51.1 per 100,000 people. And they're on record pace again, with 208 murders so far this year. Make that 210 with Saturday's murders. But Errika Bridgeford, a

Most of the killings were by gangs killing each other. If you offer $10,000 to anyone who kills a gang member, our crime problem would go down by 90%.

Blacks are already quite segregated. Everyone else moves away from them because of the violence.

Difficult to say, since to an extent, Chicago is just Baltimore on a larger scale.

Asking people not to shoot each other is absurd. I can't imagine how anyone could have thought that this could have worked. According to my local TV news as of last night 4 shooting and 2 deaths. If I had thought that this was going to make national news, I would have put on my Trump T-shirt and rode my bicycle all over town to get on TV.

I won't even go near high crime neighborhoods. The rare times I go to LAX, I have to pass through that hell hole South Central. It even gets an atheist like me to start praying.

Any area praised for its "vibrant diversity" is fairly likely to get you robbed, raped, or killed.

"A 24-year-old man was shot in Pigtown, near Carroll Park, around 5 p.m. Saturday and pronounced dead at Maryland Shock Trauma Center,"

That's pretty close to my house, like 1-1.5 miles. I ride my bike through the park pretty often.

Does anyone else find it humorous that the city wanted people to wait until Monday to shoot each other?

The hard working gangsters don't even get the weekend off. So sad.
