Woohoo! There is a small break in the dam holding back scientific truth about gender.

http://gizmodo.com/exclusive-heres-the-full-10-page-anti-diversity-screed-1797564320

A software engineer’s 10-page screed (sic) against Google’s diversity initiatives is going viral inside the company, being shared on an internal meme network and Google+. The document’s existence was first reported by Motherboard, and Gizmodo has obtained it in full.

In the memo, which is the personal opinion of a male Google employee and is titled “Google’s Ideological Echo Chamber,” the author argues that women are underrepresented in tech not because they face bias and discrimination in the workplace, but because of inherent psychological differences between men and women. “We need to stop assuming that gender gaps imply sexism,” he writes, going on to argue that Google’s educational programs for young women may be misguided.

And some delightful nuggets of truth which have so far been repressed by shaming, straw-man exaggerations, and even firing of anyone with the balls to speak:

TL:DR

Google’s political bias has equated the freedom from offense with psychological safety, but shaming into silence is the antithesis of psychological safety.
This silencing has created an ideological echo chamber where some ideas are too sacred to be honestly discussed.
The lack of discussion fosters the most extreme and authoritarian elements of this ideology.
Extreme: all disparities in representation are due to oppression
Authoritarian: we should discriminate to correct for this oppression
Differences in distributions of traits between men and women may in part explain why we don’t have 50% representation of women in tech and leadership. Discrimination to reach equal representation is unfair, divisive, and bad for business.

I read the whole thing and I love this guy! Such balls in the face of leftist authoritarianism! He's a man!

Of course the usual head-chopping reaction will happen, and has already started. His calm and rational analysis has been labelled a "screed" in that article, and Google's (always female) diversity officer stated that it contained "incorrect assumptions about gender", simply denying the overwhelming and universal evidence of biological differences between male and female preferences.

The leftist authoritarians will dispose of this guy as usual as a blasphemer against the leftist Koran, but at least he sacrificed himself for a good cause.

2   anonymous   2017 Aug 7, 9:46am

How will the right wing authoritarians and their army of mindless minions save us here?

3   Patrick   2017 Aug 7, 9:47am

There are no right wing authoritarians anymore.

All of the "agree or we will stomp on you" intolerance is from the left these days.

All of it.

Lol, you might try leaving your cave more often. Or tune out the propaganda.

So then, how will the Republicans save us from the evil leftist Authoritarians?

You do realize that Trump was elected solely because he is an Authoritarian, right?

5   anonymous   2017 Aug 7, 10:06am

Authoritarian- favoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, especially that of the government, at the expense of personal freedom.

6   Patrick   2017 Aug 7, 10:08am

Lol, you might try working the SF Bay Area. Or take an honest look at the pervasive leftist propaganda.

Trump is authoritarian? Can I get fired for criticizing Trump? Nope, you can get fired only for supporting Trump. Completely one-sided. I have repeatedly heard executives making explicitly political anti-Trump statements, in effect telling their employees: "This is the political opinion you better have if you want to remain employed here."

When Democrat politicians and Corporate managers realize that the majority of the people have had enough of this SJW nonsense and are willing to throw them out (like they did with Hillary in November), they will stop pandering and empowering these crazy Leftists.

The left is the people favoring strict obedience to authority?

Nobody bothered to welcome me to bizarro world.

So when jackbooted police bust down my door, and rob me and harm me, they're leftists in a left wing government, enforcing left wing values? Lmao. Here's a hint, that is all right wing, anti-American behavior.

I have no interest in working in the SF Bay, yous have always made it to sound like overpriced slums. Either way, it is not representative of this country as a whole. Try visiting middle America once. It's a big Christian wasteland out there, chocked full of hardcore Authoritarians

11   Patrick   2017 Aug 7, 10:25am

Maybe give a tl;dr summary of what makes you think Trump is authoritarian and leftist squashing of dissent is not?

12   Shaman   2017 Aug 7, 10:31am

Quash all ideological difference = rise of authoritarian control. We got fucking lucky that Trump was elected. It gives us a chance to get rid of and suppress the cultural marxists who want to bring back the Nazi party in the name of political correctness.

13   anonymous   2017 Aug 7, 10:36am

Trump appointed Sessions as Attorney General , knowing full well that he would double down on the Anti American war on Drugs, which the majority of the populace has voted against, by legalizing cannabis in more than half the states.

Civil asset forfeiture double down.

Him and his supporters frequently, but vaguely, referring to a "return to law & order"

I could bury you under a mountain of evidence, however, so long as you are unwilling to consider it and change your mind, it's all for naught.

You're convinced some freaks and losers are the Authoritarians that run the show, from the left.

The reality is, ours is a right wing government, through and through. It's silly to suggest you're being controlled by leftists. Move out of San Francisco then for Chris sakes, this country is teeming with right wing (authoritarian) losers, if that's really who you'd rather neighbor up with

Most people don't have to worry about cops busting down their doors and taking their weed and meth.

More people have to worry about losing their jobs (or friends) because they used the wrong pronoun or didn't want to service a gay wedding.

More people have to worry about losing a job or being suspended from school because they are falsely accused of rape.

More people are forced to waste countless hours taking diversity training courses just to take a job.

In California, State legislators are blackballing any private contractor that works on the new border wall.

These are just a few examples of Left-wing authoritarianism that apparently hasn't passed your radar.

15   Patrick   2017 Aug 7, 10:58am

But back to the topic of the OP: Will this guy's calm call for tolerance of blasphemous viewpoints (instead of the echo chamber status quo) get him executed?

My bet is that it will.

He is getting too close to the biological truth of innate sex differences, and once that fact gets past the censors, the whole reality-denial project could crumble. So he must be silenced.

(PS by "executed" I mean fired and given a large cash payment which will be legally taken back if he speaks publicly about this issue at all. This is the normal way that Bay Area tech corporations prevent the free flow of information. Could be worse I guess.)

- voting being a privilege instead of a right

But other than that, all the authoritarianism is on the left.

Let's face it, the left and the right both suck. Go orthogonal, go liberal.

Women(and minorities in tech):

I went to one of California's most well known schools for engineering...Cal Poly Pomona.

-ALL of my close friends from high school went there as well and majored in EE. As did family.
-At minimum I am PERFECTLY familiar with the demographics of the engineering programs there.
-At the time I attended(early to mid 90's) there was a sizable black population in Altadena, Pasadena, and Pomona with a smaller population in Monrovia. IOW on demographics alone, there were I'd guess, a black enrollment comprising 10-15% of the campus.
-One black student in the EE major. FUCKING ONE! This despite a Cal State wide, and school specific program to enroll black students into engineering major. Men outnumbered women in the courses by about 20-1
-I was a business major. There were a handful of black students at best. Most of my major specific classes had none, a few had one or two.
-I was first a math major. One of the classes we had to take was FORTRAN. I was dumb enough to take it 3 times before figuring out that I needed to change majors. Not one black student in any of those FORTRAN courses. Men outnumbered women in these courses around 10-1
-I was also a Information Systems minor. Six courses for the minor. A collective 2 black students in those courses. Women and men were equal in numbers.

My total college cost for 5 1/2 years inclusive of books, etc was $5K. About half the price of a low end car at that time(current JC 2 years plus cal state 2 years is about $20K, higher than the cost of a low end car).

Gee I cannot imagine why there are few women and almost no blacks working in tech fields

Just as an aside since the term was used earlier in this post.....Authoritarian is socially conservative + fiscally liberal. Absolutely does not describe Trump.

Who it does describe is the city councils in the west coast big cities..Seattle, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Los Angeles....those people think they know what is best for you and I and govern as though it was so.

The most epic example of this was when the LA City Council voted in a law that made it so the police could seize a vehicle of someone SUSPECTED(ie not even arrested or charged) with committing a narcotics, prostitution, or street racing crime. The only recourse would be to argue in a CRIMINAL COURT(you read that correct) where the standard, despite it being a criminal court, is only preponderance of the evidence. http://articles.latimes.com/2004/feb/20/local/me-onthelaw20

CIty of LA at the time had exactly one Republican as a councilperson(Out of I believe 15). Oakland which had the same law...I doubt they had any conservative/republican.

The California Supreme court overturned it, but the intent was clear. Seeing as the Democrat supermajority in the state assembly and senate are contemplating similar laws, I think its very fair to say the authoritarian threat is entirely from the left.

And that's probably true as most engineers at Google are male, but it's still an assumption any reputable news agency would not make. Reporters are suppose to confirm, not guess based on stereotyping.

Still, at least we know that the author isn't a gorilla. Google doesn't hire gorillas.

Maybe Google should not be the first company to claim bigotry at the slightest drop of the hat.

I agree that Trump himself isn't playing out as a true Authoritarian. The President is representative of the People that elected him, and he was certainly elected by people longing for an Authoritarian. "A Return to Law & Order", whatever that means to you. To me, whoever he appoints as AG, is more about what he is doing than whatever he is saying on that particular day.

As far as what The People mean by The Federal Government returning Law & Order, Sessions is the polar opposite. The People don't want The War on Drugs, let alone doubling down and strengthening of civil asset forfeiture. This is real world tangible shit. Not some hokie SJW nonsense that exists primarily on the internet.

So to me, what this means as to who is or who isn't the Authoritarians, is the group of people that when asked "what's the rules here on this?", demand that you abandon thought and reason, and instead, turn to The Bigly-est Government of all and say "well, what is the rule here, we can't be bothered to think if this is right or wrong, we're just going to defer to you as to what is best for us, and go with that".

If the State says it's a go, we're along for the ride. All the way, unquestionably.

If the State says it's a no, well then, we can justify harming the bad folk pretty much all the way. No questions asked.

We find these people voting both Democrat and Republican, and parsing through the data predicted as much. Authoritarians voted Trump into office. Authoritarian voters gave us Pence, Sessions, and Gorsuck as well. Trump as the face of The Authoritarian movement. Objective people know that this is no bueno. Them's some bad hombres. Of course they marketed making America Really Shitty as #MAGA

There is no greater form of mind control than self censorship of ideas. You can blame everything on the left, but the right controls the entire government. The right built this mess that we're in. The rights' voters are marching in lockstep, unquestioning, while the left is fractured and all over the place. It's pretty fucking obvious which side is practicing the self censorship of ideas.

Address media and education as a wing of the Democratic party, as exposed factually by wikileaks, and we can start having a conversation.

i'm sort of working up a theory that although it seems bad for business, it MUST benefit someone's pockets deeply. businesses do not do ANYTHING unless the top of the heap enriches itself, FIRST AND FOREMOST.

therefore, this controlled release of cancer is actually having a net positive outcome for chiefs, boards, and major stakeholders.

but HOW?

The main benefit is that the elite gets to divide and rule the rest.

The non-elite schlubs like us are easily split by race, gender, and various made-up sexual categories.

When thus set against each other, it is far harder for us to unify to demand our fair share of the profits we work every day to create.

See how these lines diverge at just about the time SJW issues came to the fore?

Aaaand he's fired:

A Google employee who wrote a controversial memo about workplace diversity has been fired, the BBC can confirm.

http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-40859004

This guy deserves the utmost respect from everyone who values truth more the conformity. I hope to find out his name so I can personally thank him for standing up to SJW intimidation.

And he was fired with this reasoning:

It is contrary to our basic values and our Code of Conduct, which expects each Googler to do their utmost to create a workplace culture that is free of harassment, intimidation, bias and unlawful discrimination.

He was harassed (fired) and intimidated (as he explains his document) because he was objecting to the bias against men (the assumption that the low numbers of female engineers is entirely due to male sexism). The irony!

Google perfectly proved his "Google is an echo chamber" point by firing the one guy who would not mindlessly echo what everyone was saying. Lol. Time to short Google stock yet?
