panned Health At Any Size movement. Body size isnt a good indicator of health, she argues. To Watkins, even individuals who can be classified as morbidly obese could be healthy.Watkins also dismissed the effectiveness in dieting. The validity of HAES is supported by research over the past decade that reveals the continued ineffectiveness of dieting interventions targeting weight loss along with the potential for harm associated with these strategies, she writes. Surely, thousands of Americans who have lost weight and lowered their risk for certain medical conditions beg to differ with Watkins argument.I grew to embrace feminist pedagogy in terms...

That's ok. Heart disease and diabetes doesn't discriminate.

The course is off. All the chairs and desks shattered and have to be replaced by industrial models, the toilets fractured/leaking and doorways need to be widened.

Wall defibrillators need to be exchanged for models that have deeper penetration. Walkers, cranes, extra large wheelchairs/hoverounds and hoists are required at critical junctures.

Why is the article in the link surrounded by weight loss ads?

They'll need to rewire with 3 phase wiring.

"I have a major in hambeast studies from Columbia University."

13   Booger   2017 Aug 11, 7:24pm

They have to hold class on the ground floor, and in the cafeteria. Or maybe at Golden Corral.

14   Booger   2017 Aug 11, 7:28pm

It really is a civil rights issue though. None of us should be forced to endure the assault of having to look at that.

15   Booger   2017 Aug 11, 7:32pm

I have an idea. Take the money for this college course and invest it in a treadmill.

16   RC2006   2017 Aug 12, 9:45am

Can you imagine what the class will look like if black, mexican, and women studies were not bad enough.

Lol. The effectiveness of not eating so much seems pretty damn clear.

But OK, she wants to "dismiss" that. Much easier to live with herself that way.

Which side is going to win?

The one with people so easily offended they need a safe space from words, condone being seriously overweight, and are opposed to firearms ownership.

Or the other one?
