1   HEY YOU   2017 Aug 22, 8:59pm

All necessary manpower should have been called in &
everyone dispersed, those that didn't should have been arrested at the scene.

Bundy's property should be confiscated & sold for his debt, today.
And anyone that starts some shit will be dealt with.

Libs fail to convict the Bundy's

You clearly don't even know how our legal system works. It's a criminal proceeding, not an election. But your attitude does show how you care nothing for justice or law and order, only about "scoring a win against the other team" as if America were a sport and the only purpose of our laws is to stroke your ego with selective enforcement.

A federal jury in Las Vegas refused Tuesday to convict four defendants who were retried on accusations that they threatened and assaulted federal agents by wielding assault weapons in a 2014 confrontation to stop a cattle roundup near the Nevada ranch of states' rights figure Cliven Bundy.

Translation: The four jury practice jury nullification. They knew the law was broken, but chose not to vote guilty, most likely because of the politics involved rather than because the jury actually disagreed with the law.

You clearly don't even know the political makeup of las vegas juries that determine guilt vs innocence.
526,986 registered democrats vs 436,799 republicans in vegas.
Odds are the jury for this case was overwhelming democratic.
IOW, Libbys did indeed fail to convict Bundy...

When I looked into it, I didn't think there was a crime. From what I understand, they had been working that land long, long, long before some pencil-dicks came out with "grazing fees". Or am I mistaken on that?

Well, if they had well-established prior use, YES! Tell me, what harm did they do to you, working that land for years long before you were born? Best of luck with your Alcatraz claim. If you get it within the current rules may I please stay as your honored guest, for a modest compensation?

Gentle Reader,

I'm not really sure about all of this Libs vs. Cons bullshit. It just doesn't make sense in the context of grazing cows on public land as a criminal act. All of that is weird even for this blog.

Anyway, these Bundy people were declared not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Fine. I'm an avowed Progressive Democrat, and I wouldn't have convicted these people either. Why were they even charged? Stupid. Next thing we'll have flatulence as a criminal offense.

Now, as far a grazing fees go, that issue is not for criminal court. It is for civil court. Sure, the Bundy's had a freebie for a lot of years, but they really need to pay for what they get. Time to pay for grazing their cows on what is a part of the Public's property.

Want to shoot someone with a .223 assault rifle? Be prepared to get shot then.

So, I insist that they pay for what they get to make a private profit on. Pay up or get out. Civil court will decide. Now, they want to declare freedom from Gov't intrusion? Good. Great. I'm all for it. The Bundy's should then BUY their own land. They will then be able to graze their cows at will.

Of course, I'm pretty sure requiring them to buy their own land in leu of paying the Public for "fair use" will thoroughly piss the Bundys off. Tough.

Regards,
Roidy
