This looks like a campaign to remove anything right-leaning from the protection of the First Amendment.
1: Remove Nazi from the protection of the 1st amendment. De facto if not de jure.
2: Label Nazi anything that's not left. De facto if not de jure.
1 and 2 are not sequential. They are processes, overlapping in time, assisting their mutual progress, and using similar methods (violence, bullying, and outcry)

How serious is it? Well, it appears that the violent left is quite well organized.

Maybe the right and the mainstream media should come to an agreement. The mainstream media will stop ignoring violence from the conservative left if the conservative right stops denying man-made climate change and its consequences. If it helps, we can tie gun rights to climate change. The more sever the effects of climate change, the few gun rights you have. The more climate change is mitigates, the more gun rights you have.

Explain this to me: if some group applies and gets approval for a permit to run a rally at certain place and certain time, isn't it the gov't responsibility to make sure the approved event runs undisturbed by "counter-demonstrators"? WTF is the purpose of a permit if this is not a case? If announcing to the whole world in advance when and where you plan to assemble means that your freedom to do so is going to be trampled while authorities are idly standing by, why would anyone apply for such a permit? Keeping your plans secret and announcing to the press at the very last moment seems like better bet.
