Condo Question

By Destinator following x   2017 Aug 28, 3:46pm 333 views   4 comments   watch   quote     share

I own a condo in Mary Esther, FL.. It is paid for, but the past few months I have gotten behind on the association dues. ($2100 including lawyer fees). The assoc. has put a lien on it and threatening foreclosure. I need to know how this works as I know nothing about it. How long or how quick is it possible for my home to be sold out from my feet?

Every state has different laws. Only a lawyer can answer this. Just pay the dues or sell the condo.

He won't be able to sell until the lien is lifted.

A lien just means the association will get their money in the end.

Pay the past due.

It's rare but occasionally an association will foreclose to pay dues.
