The ultimate liberal dilemma

I'm a liberal and I see no dilemma here. Antisemitism is hatred and prejudice towards Jews, which has nothing to do with distrust of the top 0.1% that control our economy. Even if many of those in the 0.1% are Jewish, the distrust has nothing to do with their religion or ethinic background and everything to do with "power corrupts". Furthermore, most Jews aren't in the 0.1%.

There is no dilemma here.

There's no dilemma on the side of people who believe in rule of law and fair markets. These sort of people can tolerate others who do better in the marketplace and make lots of money without demanding that their shit get confiscated and distributed to the "needy."
What sort of people are these? Well pretty much everyone on the Right, even the alt-right.
I thought it was odd that the Jews supported the very people who would steal all they have, but then I realized that most Jews are elitist and the Democrat party caters well to such.

But most of the .1% are Jews. Almost 50% of US billionaires are jews and over 10% of the worlds billionaires are jews. Jews make up 3% of US population and .2% or world population.

While I have observed in-group favor amongst wealthy Jews I have encountered, I cannot simply be angry at a group that tends to teach financial literacy to its own. The only problem I would have is the "stacked deck" in favor of the in-group selection. I can't be preached at about "treat all others equally, fairly" while observing this. I also think many Jew-girls are pretty. Being smart with money to boot helps as well.

So what? That's the same dumb mistake the conservative left makes. Most heads of states throughout history have been men, but most men have not been heads of state. It's not a patriarchy oppressing people as most men are powerless. You are making the exact same mistake.

I bet most of those Jews are white, too. Do you accept that white people are causing all the economic problems as well? Same faulty reasoning.

No Dan, I just replied to your comment with stats from Forbes. The rest is just in your head.

Translation: You cannot think of a counterargument to my thrashing of your first argument.

False equivalence. True that many Jews are successful, but I also know many who struggle as the rest of us. But I will admit the Jewish influence in the media is troubling.

Also, Jews aren't white.

About 30% of the Nobel prizes are jews.. this would tell me they don't quite put their mind for making money, but they have other interests

Everyone has a little jew in them.
The only question is who gave it to us, Adam, Eve, or the serpent...

You obviously haven't seen my Jewish friends on the dance floor. They are so white.

Wait-are you telling me that there aren't really buttons that you have to push either supporting the 1% or being anti-semitic? Whew.

I think Jewish success is probably evenly split between personal qualities (hard work, smarts) and simply belonging to a community oriented toward helping their own people.

But is belonging to and being helped by a successful community "privilege"? I suppose it is a favorable accident of birth that most people do not have access to.

No, it's a mafia attitude. Helping your group preferably over the rest of individuals is good for your group but bad for society. You can leverage the power of (your group) over the power of every single (outsider) individual. This may be ok (more benefits than costs) for poor/opressed minorities, but for well-of classes (jews, masons, mafias) it's just crony
