9-11 Thirty-two Names Added to WTC Memorial Wall - 16 years ago today, where were you ?
Of course rich Saudis were allowed to fly out of the country though no one else was allowed to fly. The press never really covered the story of how the Saudis got away with mass murder of Americans. All of their assets should be expropriated and distributed evenly to every American. Their trillion in US assets would come out to a check for about $3,000 to every US citizen. Maybe that's something we can all agree on.
I was at home and saw it on the interwebs and I drank a cup of Joe my GF made me before she left for work. When I got to work nearly everyone was freaked out. I went into the restroom and two guys were happily celebrating but toned it down entirely when I walked in. If I had to guess I'd say they were Pakistani. The next year I worked there I had stare downs with one of those guys in the parking lot whenever we both pulled in at the same time. I never did anything. Needed the job badly and it was early in my career. Always wanted to pop him though.
Seriously, in the restroom it was if their team just won the world cup or something.
The firemen are scammers.
My fireman friend from Staten Island was there and they all got free settlement money for nothing.
He's not sick although he smoked and drank too much, he's 70 years old now.
Nobody became a NYC fireman except to make money.
I don't have anything against making money, but they got a huge bullshit settlement, like the baby powder causes ovarian cancer nonsense.
As a result, the wall now bears the names of 159 individuals who have died of those illnesses.
"The members we honor on our World Trade Center Memorial Wall worked tirelessly in support of the rescue and recovery efforts of the 343 heroes and thousands of innocent victims killed on September 11th," said Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro. "The 32 members we remember this year were without question brave – they were dedicated and compassionate – and they performed their duties, selflessly, and courageously."

In the 9/11 Museum, there is a part of the exhibition behind a wall. The images there are still hard to see. Warning: Confronting.
Behind the wall is a gallery of photographs playing on a loop.
They remain the most shocking images of that day’s horrors. They are so confronting that newspapers, such as The New York Times, received a barrage of complaints for publishing them. Even today, the images are rarely seen in the US.
According to New York magazine, the photographs “have been rendered taboo, vilified as an insult to the dead and an unbearably brutal shock to the living”.
