Honestly? I think it means we need to give more money to civil engineers.

I think there are 250 percent more humans on the earth than 50 years ago. They freak out over the most prevalent terror du jour as soon as they are told, and aren't allowed to consider points-of-view other than the biased right or left.

Is Co2 a greenhouse gas? Yes. Do humans produce alot of it? Yes. Is Nitrogen a more potent greenhouse gas? Yes. 250 times more. Do humans produce alot of nitrogen as well? Yes. Mainly farmers.

What is the most direct cause of tropical deforestation? Farming irrigation that applies no civil engineering - primarily South America and Africa.
Why don't climate alarmists complain more about nitrogen concentrations? Because nitrogen-rich soils and fertilizers are one of many reason there are fewer starving people in in third world countries despite a 250 percent increase in overall population over the past half century.
Did Michael Mann et al fudge the numbers to create a more dramatic hockey stick graph? Yes.
Do the alarmists have a scientific explanation for the Medieval Warming Period? No. What is their scientific recommendation? Taxation without representation.
Michael Chrichton had it right when he suggested that If we were THAT worried about global warming, and THAT bent on punishing the rich, we would start by banning private aircraft.

And George Carlin was right. The earth isn't going anywhere. We are. The planet will shake us off like a bad case of fleas.
There are too many humans on earth. No matter how we look at it, that is a Civil Engineering problem.

Did Stevie Wonder score higher than me on his Chemistry 201 final in college? No he didn't.
