ESPN host under fire AGAIN for calling Trump a 'white supremacist' just weeks after comparing cops to 'SLAVE PATROLS' during Colin Kaepernick rant

ESPN SportsCenter co-host Jemele Hill is under fire again for writing a slew of controversial remarks to her Twitter page
The sports commentator called out President Trump for being 'a white supremacist' and made other remarks about him to her page Monday
ESPN since addressed the tweets, calling them 'inappropriate' and not a reflection of the network's views
Just weeks ago, Hills received flack for calling cops 'slave patrol' adding that the comments were 'inflammatory, but historically accurate'
She complaining that NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick had not been signed
Another user pointed out that Kaepernick called cops 'slave patrol' last month

She needs to be fired, unless ESPN is looking to lose half it audience.

As a Disney shareholder I approve this message.

Cable has lost 22 million subscribers this year alone.

If they think calling Ameircans racist after fucking up American sports because they shove gay ass FIFA up our collective Asses.

Well good luck with that.
And is proof of the reason most Americans honestly believes Liberals are fully incompetent retards. Who don't know what's best for their own survival best interests or the sake of the company they work for.

All I have to say this race baiting Idiot is brush up your resume puddin you're going to need more skills than race baiter master.
The age of Obama and his brand of Liberals is over. Hillary lost the election, Comey is about to be prosecuted and Mueller is on his way out.

Didn't Kaepernick already cost them a good 15%? Are they unhappy with their level of market share and want it to drop further? With all the cord-cutting, the steady drop of interest in sports as each generation progresses from the boomers, and the already massively over represented black people in sports, you'd think they could give it a rest with the shrill SJW action from an entitled black woman.

Oh well!

It'll be interesting to see how the NFL ratings go this year too. Lots of excuses last year. First week though is down. Thursday night kickoff down 12% versus previous year: http://deadline.com/2017/09/patriots-chiefs-nfl-kickoff-game-ratings-down-nbc-1202163914/ Hurricane Irma was a thing and people were prepping, but that's a pretty dramatic drop on top of what is 3 years of previous drops.

I enjoy football and other sports, but bringing politics into something that should be a retreat from that type of talk is annoying. I know someone is going to say they have a platform to get a message out, but I simply don't care. If I go to McDonalds, I don't want to hear the fucking cashiers thoughts on Donald Trump. If that happens once or twice I'll very likely go somewhere else to get fat.

If ESPN thinks her type of opinion should be heard, just create another channel ESPNp. p is for politics. Have them talk about how sports and politics can work together. Get back to me on what those rating would be...

She posted it on twitter, she didn't say it on the air as an ESPN host. Should McDonalds cashiers not be allowed to state their opinion outside of work?

It's funny what a different reaction you guys have when it's someone saying something anti-Trump. Free speech is out the window and it's fine to fire her.

I never said fire her. Unfortunately free speech with an employer isn't a thing. I'm not going to take the time to look it up, but I most certainly recall fast food workers fired for putting an opinion on twitter that was against company policy, etc. It happens all the time across all business types. Unfortunately, whether you like it or not, you are an extension of your employer 24/7. Is that right? Probably not, but similar non-controversial things have been said by other employees that have resulted in them being terminated. The current environment is not an equal playing field for all.

While his comments were distasteful, why was Schilling fired and this women not? Both people made completely obnoxious claims. One is fired and the other wasn't. I personally don't think either people should be fired. They both had an opinion about something and didn't put it on the air while on the clock. Unfortunately that's not the way it works. It really is a bad look for ESPN, there's really no disputing it. And it feeds into the far rights "feeling" that white men are essentially being discriminated against. This is not my belief, but just my observation.

I also don't believe I've defended Trump in any of my posts unless it was warranted. So you may be talking about others. I try to live in a facts based universe. Will I make mistakes, sure, but I'm not a Trump defender, fan boy, whatever you want to call it.

I don't think it's how it should be, but it's definitely how it is.

His employer clearly felt Schilling's comments hurt their brand more than Hill's. At least for now.

Sorry--didn't mean to include you. Just that there were a LOT of posts about incidents similar to Schilling where the person was fired and people were outraged. And the point is the same; there isn't a conspiracy going on, it's just the free market at work.

But there is absolutely no evidence to back this up about Schilling. His comments were way more tame compared to what Hill said.

There is plenty of ratings evidence that the left-wing SJW tilt at ESPN and the NFL is costing them loads of viewers in the past few years.

This isn't the free market at work. I guarantee you that majority of ESPN viewers prefer someone like Schilling (and his views) compared to this harpy ranting and calling everyone white racists.

Black people are allowed to yell racist obscenities on tv with liberal media these days.

Not really. There was already an established trend--nothing to show correlation.

I doubt it.
