San Antonio does not have a lot of higher paying jobs. As a IT Consultant, I have always worked out-of-state. (my favorite location is the San Francisco Bay area)

I sold my last house back in 2007. Made some money off the sale and have been renting ever since. I am debt free and have been able to donate a substantial amount of money to my favorite charity's.
I might consider buying again if I could get a super deal on a foreclosure or short sale. Otherwise, I am very happy as a renter.
