Both sexes usually have a split personality with the opposite sex. Women can be talking sex with their girlfriends, and as soon as a male walks in, they are all prim and virginal.
It alway cracks me up in the movie and tv relationships that women always say they want complete honesty in their relationship, and are shattered at the tiniest lie. That's called a sucker punch, since no man can approach a woman who hasn't mostly lied about her appearance, attributes and personality in order to attract him. Also, they demand egregious lies from the man as to his true nature, motives and resources, requiring grotesque amounts of flattery and attention. For the most part, if men even want a remote chance at nookie, they have to present a portrait of caring, nurturance, consideration, kindness, fidelity etc. that borders on craft if not sociopathy. In fact, that is why sociopaths are so typically successful with women.
Women are the great censors of male behavior, because they make it clear that any man around them has to tread a narrow path and are walking on eggs for the tiny possibility that they will be allowed to reproduce.
