At least 50 dead, 400+ sent to hospitals in Las Vegas; shooting is deadliest in US history

So far, this one makes absolutely no sense. The guy’s brother is saying he was not religious, political, or on any medication for mental illness that he was aware of. Then there is the lady and her boyfriend in the crowd 45 minutes before the shooting saying “they are all around us! you are all going to die.”

I wish I could trust the media and the government to shed proper light on it eventually, but I fear they will only show us what they want us to see.

This is why real journalism needs to come back.

Probably the safest place in the country at the moment.

There was a time I think when investigative journalism was the norm. Some news outlets still do. On a local level, David Goldstein for CBS 2 in Los Angeles is outstanding.

Deep CGI is just pointing out that a properly independent media functions as an additional check on the govt, but as it's currently composed the media just parrots whatever political party it supports.

Trust me, if guys just spend their lives, fucking hoes and listening to classic rock, no mass murders would happen.

What this guy is ... is a larger scale repeat of the Texas Tower Sniper back in the 60s ...

It would still happen. A ho actually told me(seriously) that there are too many bitch boys in this world.

It takes money to fuck ho's, drink, eat, enjoy sports, gambling...all the shit that men like that blows off steam.

Deficient dudes don't make money, don't get to do the above, and wind up pissed off at the world that they suck so bad.

You have proof positive in a few of the posters here at Pat.net.

That's the blue collar way of stating Jordan Peterson's description of psychopathy.

Basically his explanation is that life is suffering. You either embrace the burden, make good decisions in life to thrive despite the suffering -OR- you let the suffering overcome you which always results in a victim complex, then declare existence worthless and finally go on a killing spree.

Yup. I could name guys like Dan and Jazz, but I won't, for fear they might go on a shooting spree.

Except the guy in question allegedly owned two planes and bunch of rental properties.

How much money did this guy lose gambling before he went on a shooting spree?

How many of the injuries were caused by bullets? How many injuries were caused by people fleeing the scene?

The poor guy couldn't sleep - country music right below - and he happened to have 10 guns right handy near his bed.

Guy's father was an officially designated psychopath who robbed banks and escaped from captivity. Later, he opened a Bingo in Oregon and the authorities never matched him to any records.

One son just killed almost 60 people, allegedly owns 27 properties, a plane, etc. but has never had a job and drops $20-30k a night in Las Vegas.

Not hard to figure it all out.

The family is lying about not having a clue, and he's moved sometimes 3 times in a year.

There was no art on the walls, not even a car in the driveway, Judy said, just a dining chair, a bed and two recliners. “It looked like he’d be ready to move at a moment’s notice,” Judy said.

Expect his financial victims to come forward soon.

If only we had eugenics for violent criminals, incidents like this could have been prevented.

News accounts typically exaggerate financial wealth, because large figures grab attention. If the guy hadn't gambled himself down to a nubbin, it would be a shock. The slip 'n fall lawsuit was also the kind of thing that professional legal clients do out of financial desperation.

Also, alcoholics and addicts often have gun obsessions when intoxicated, and like to fire them even in their homes, like Hunter Thompson and Richard Brautigan.

So called self styled gamblers that I have known are doing two things: trying to avoid people they owe money to, and trying to collect from people who owe them, with a general net loss over time, but always able to cut and run at a moment's notice.

Gamblers are also typically depressed, because the thrill of winning is never greater than the upset of losing, so their tendency is to lose more and become more depressed over time.

To put things in their proper perspective, this Las Vegas shooting is roughly equivalent to almost 2 months of Baltimore City shootings, except condensed into 15 minutes.

Why, because you can't get a normal woman to spend time with you unless you pay her?

If you recall, Mr CIC/Ironman clone, I'd already turned down a visiting scholar from Chile, for exactly that.

That's because I'm honest, I like to fuck, not have a relationship. Got it:? Or is this too hard for your failed 3rd grade education to comprehend?

So he executed a major terrorist attack because he got tired of stealing from people? That doesn't add up.

What does fit is the likeness to the Grande concert, the ISIS claim, the extensive planning and weaponry, the fringe of society status, foreign national partner, money wires out of country, suicide finale.

All the killers shit will go to the lawyers, and the peanuts that are left will get divided among the victims.
