Man, Trump really sucks for the economy and this is why

The Dow Jones hit another all-time high yesterday evening (flirting with 23,000).

Unemployment nationally is at its lowest in 16 years.

... and for some reason Mark Cuban, and Paul Krugman told me Trump being elected would crash markets and cause wealth to flee the U.S. Except what actually happened is I'm up 32% (more in other accounts) and the year isn't even over.

Damn Trump really sucks.

It's because he hasn't done shit to the economy. You're still enjoying the fruits of the Obama economy. Trend lines for unemployment, stocks, and the economy in general have stayed almost exactly the same from Obama to Trump because Trump hasn't changed anything. Yet.

Right. But how come smart man like Krugman predicted that markets won't ever recover after Nov 9th "plunge"? I mean, the closest date Trump could change anything was the end of January and this was fucking 3 month away....

When Barack was in charge, I remember the argument that stock market performance had no bearing on lifestyle of average american since they couldn't even come up with $1000 in case of emergency. Now apparently, it's completely different and it's roaring 1920's for everyone...

Are you kidding tatupu?

Paul Krugman said the markets would literally crash and we'd be in recession by now. Except LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE happened.

You still want to defend that asshole?

He was clearly wrong about that, and I don't always agree with him either. But for someone like you to come on here and pretend like he's an idiot and you know more about economics than him is hilarious.

Uh no. It's because Krugman doesn't actually understand how a real economy works.

I do know better than him because I didn't listen to him and Cuban and now I'm up 32%+ in all my various accounts. I was a multi-millionaire last year, now I'm a richer multi-millionaire.

Krugman was wrong and you're defending that stupid asshole.

32% in the account I posted, and about the same in other accounts more or less. We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars and the year isn't over just because I wasn't stupid enough to listen to your hero Paul Krugman.

In fact, I just paid CASH for a Sierra Denali because I literally didn't expect to be this much richer by this time in the year.

Why don't you post your gains from following your hero Paul Krugman's advice cool guy?

Do it. You deserve it for not falling into the cult like doctrine of idiots like Krugman.

What are you thinking of getting?

Anyone can say whatever shit they want on the internet, but I don't see you posting your actual gains, percentages, account balances from following the advice of your hero Paul Krugman. I've posted my gains THREE times over the past month to prove that Krugman is full of shit. I've got absolutely nothing to hide, but have yet to see you post one Krugman advised investment from the past 12 months that lead to you gaining anything.

I'm guessing we never will.

Well, #1 I didn't follow his advice as I already told you. #2 I have no need nor any desire to make anything personal. I'm doing quite well and am quite comfortable. That's all you or anyone else needs to know.

Personally, I'm mostly a believe in the efficient market theory. Lots of people think they know something, but usually a monkey beats them at stock picking.

Just get index funds.

Yep--and it's worked very well, thank you. Beats 90+% of stock pickers who do it for a living even before they charge their fees. And, yes, I'm fairly certain it beats the hell out of any stocks you pick.

I don't have an AR9, but if you do build one (have you tried glock mag conversions?), post pics please.

That's my problem, they want to build them with glock mags, but I don't have any glocks, and I really don't need more different mags in inventory. I like the Wilson Combat models, but they won't do a ruger conversion.

Wilson Combat is like the Ferrari of AR9s. Just pick that one up and let the jealousy begin.
