Man, Trump really sucks for the economy and this is why

The Dow Jones hit another all-time high yesterday evening (flirting with 23,000).

Unemployment nationally is at its lowest in 16 years.

... and for some reason Mark Cuban, and Paul Krugman told me Trump being elected would crash markets and cause wealth to flee the U.S. Except what actually happened is I'm up 32% (more in other accounts) and the year isn't even over.

Damn Trump really sucks.

HEY YOU, why do you think liberal leftist Keynesian hero Paul Krugman was so wrong?

This is literally what he wrote on November 9th, 2016 in what was formerly a newspaper, the New York Times.

Do you agree or disagree that Paul Krugman is a stupid asshole who anyone with $20 in any type of money market account should NEVER, ever, listen to for investment advice?

Another stupid asshole who probably cost tens of thousands of dumb leftist to LOSE billions of dollars of gains because he told people to get out of the market because Trump's presidency would crash the markets.

It's because he hasn't done shit to the economy. You're still enjoying the fruits of the Obama economy. Trend lines for unemployment, stocks, and the economy in general have stayed almost exactly the same from Obama to Trump because Trump hasn't changed anything. Yet.

If his dumpster fire of a tax plan somehow gets passed, then all bets are off.

GoranK does not understand that it is the EMPLOYMENT RATE that matters, not the unemployment rate. Employment rate (a.k.a. Labor Participation Rate) is the key, together with total wages.

It still makes me laugh when folks come on here making fun of Krugman when 90% of the posters can't even define what Keynesian Economics is.

Uhhhh... both of those are up too genius.

Participation rate (BLS)
November 2016: 62.6
September 2017: 63.1

From New York Times:

The average hourly wage grew by 0.45 percent, for a year-over-year gain of 2.9 percent.

Got anything more?

Paul Krugman said the markets would literally crash and we'd be in recession by now. Except LITERALLY THE OPPOSITE happened.

Right. But how come smart man like Krugman predicted that markets won't ever recover after Nov 9th "plunge"? I mean, the closest date Trump could change anything was the end of January and this was fucking 3 month away....

When Barack was in charge, I remember the argument that stock market performance had no bearing on lifestyle of average american since they couldn't even come up with $1000 in case of emergency. Now apparently, it's completely different and it's roaring 1920's for everyone...

32% in the account I posted, and about the same in other accounts more or less. We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars and the year isn't over just because I wasn't stupid enough to listen to your hero Paul Krugman.

In fact, I just paid CASH for a Sierra Denali because I literally didn't expect to be this much richer by this time in the year.

Why don't you post your gains from following your hero Paul Krugman's advice cool guy?

Anyone can say whatever shit they want on the internet, but I don't see you posting your actual gains, percentages, account balances from following the advice of your hero Paul Krugman. I've posted my gains THREE times over the past month to prove that Krugman is full of shit. I've got absolutely nothing to hide, but have yet to see you post one Krugman advised investment from the past 12 months that lead to you gaining anything.

I'm guessing we never will.

Well, #1 I didn't follow his advice as I already told you. #2 I have no need nor any desire to make anything personal. I'm doing quite well and am quite comfortable. That's all you or anyone else needs to know.
