" SETMAYER: Because he’s done this his entire career and never been held accountable for it. Now he’s in front of the entire world, where he has people who will actually hold him accountable for the things he says, and he does not know how to process that, because its not in his character to do so. He’s been a liar his entire life! He’s a BS artist! And when he gets backed into a corner, then his default is to lie, make something up, deflect and divert, and when people call him on it, he says “fake news.”

Yep. Anybody who thinks HRC would have been the better prez needs to have their head checked.
3   anonymous   2017 Oct 18, 1:24pm

HRC would have been much better. All I want out of my president is to know that every morning when I flip the light switch, the power comes on. That's it.

All this other stuff about their agenda, or the inside baseball BS that consumes this website and it's hyper partisan posters is meaningless if the lights don't come on.

Don't get me wrong, but the chances that Trump does something so reckless, or foolishly impetuous that the lights don't come on is probably 5%. We'll in my book 5% is UNACCEPTABLY HIGH.

With HRC the chances of such a disaster is 0.01 same as it is with every other person in that chair for the last 70 years. Yes, she would enact policies I don't like, and she would give money to her cronies just like every other president, but each night I could go to bed with the full assurances the lights would come on, just as they have for the last 40 years existence on this planet. YMMV
4   anonymous   2017 Oct 18, 1:39pm

Zero. Plus there is a 95% chance they will come on every day for the next 3-7 years. What's your point?

have you been having problems with your lights since Trump was elected? The best advice I can give you is make sure you pay your electric bill on time.
6   anonymous   2017 Oct 18, 2:16pm

Yes, because 0.1% is less than 5% HRC would be better. The end.

"Me123 said...Do you want her to pay your electric bill too"

Nope, I just want the republicans to put forward another 0.1% risk candidate so I can make a real choice, then sit back and laugh at all the hyperpartisans who spend their time making BS memes and YouTube videos of people like Peggy Joseph.
7   anonymous   2017 Oct 18, 2:18pm

Komputodo- no, I answered that in post 15. Are you having reading comprehension problems?

They support him cause he's not politically correct and they were convinced by judeo-puritans that political correctness will lead to downfall of america. They were under the influence of 40Oz of high grade caffeine beverages as they were listening to proselytizing.

Republicans elected Trump as a candidate over 15 other primary candidates

Oh please, wake up Timmy, the Repubs didn't do anything, the people elected Trump.

"primary".

Here's another hint, the "primary" doesn't mean shit, it doesn't elect a President. The General election decides the President, how many Repubs were on that ballot? Were there 15?

When will you people wake up and realize that it’s Her FUCKING FAULT we have Trump! He literally could not have won the Presidency against anyone else in the entire race from the very beginning! That Baltimore mayor probably could have beat him! We have Hillary to thank for Trump, and you may lay all of his fuck ups at Her feet for being such a massive Dykosaurus Rex before, during, and after the election such that Trump was the more palatable candidate for so many.

Agreed. In fact it is at least in the realm of possibility that HRC will get prosecuted/arrested, also possibly Comey, Holder and the rest of the gang. The noose is tightening around this corrupt gang while some keep whining about Trump.

Trump is still doing pretty well as president. I like him.

His function is to destabilize the entrenched money-grabbing scheme in DC. Even if he just comes up with alternate money-grabbing schemes for himself, he's still a force for good just by his disruptive behavior.

There's a book called "The Evolution of Cooperation" by Robert Axelrod which gives the example of trench warfare in WWI as non-productive cooperation. Soldiers in the trenches figured out after months of fighting that they could just shell each other only at certain times of day and gain great personal safety on both sides while giving the appearance of fighting. The solution to that was to keep rotating soldiers to disrupt the evolution of cooperation with the enemy.

DC is similar in a way. All sides are simply self-interested and have given up on doing battle for the public good, choosing instead cynical cooperation as a corporate-globalist uniparty. Trump is a disruptive force that is sorely needed.

By all accounts he has not done that. K-street is doing as well as they have in the last 25 years.

What has he destabilized?

So having the entire executive branch run by the same money grabbing revolving door elite as always is disruptive how? The money grabbing libertarian ultra rich are more in charge than ever before in history. Nothing changed but the names.

OK, if Trump has made himself weak and ineffective, then that's a good thing for Trump haters, right?

Pence seems way more sincere to me than GW Bush ever did.
25   Patrick   2017 Oct 19, 10:15pm

To be honest, I think Pence and Trump really have very little in common. Trump has a massive ego, but Pence seems pretty humble. Trump is nominally Christian, but Pence is a true believer.

I don't care much about the Republican party, so the article is not all that relevant. I just care that we get some shake-up in DC, where the routine corruption at least has to deal with the unpredictability of Trump.

Is anyone paying Pence to vote against the public interest?

Club for Growth was Pence's biggest contributor year after year. Club for Growth is part of the Koch Bros political funding machine. After all everyone knows the ultra rich libertarians are only interested in the welfare of their fellow citizens and not becoming even more rich. Really it's true.

You give a try at reading Dark Money. Then you wouldn't have to ask these types of questions.

Follow the money.

LOL, Trump is meh. Rand Paul would be a far better president. Trump does at least fight back against the establishment and the political correctness.

Pointing out TDS is my main agenda on this sight, as the regressive left today is by far the most dangerous group in today's society.

Even in your white separatist fantasy, even the daily stormer isn't calling for death to infidels.

The Islamacists routinely calls for violence. The alt left is also consistently calling for violence.

Regardless, since you brought it up, white Christian countries have had a great run over the last few hundred years. They have consistently given more rights and more wealth to more citizens of every race/class/creed/gender than any other group.

Exactly, I cannot fathom how you got a dislike for this easily verifiable fact. The Caliphate says we kill everybody that doesn't submit to any of our laws and even if so we may kill you anyways. The radical left says we combat and harm anybody who is on the opposite side of our views. The Christians say a Christian society would be better for the country and they also may say the want to ban abortion/gay marriage, the white nationalists say a white/Caucasian majority would be better for the country. No matter what your views on race and/or religion are, a 5 year old can spot the dangerous radicals here, and they are not the Christians or white nationalists.

Rand Paul would be an awful president. I watched an interview with him recently. I was shocked at how shallow and uninformed he was. He is only capable of mouthing trite stock conservative phrases to any question. Strictly a well groomed talking head and nothing else.

Nope, not consistently, prior to 1945, Europe was bathing in blood at regular intervals. In fact, it can be argued that violence in europe dropped precipitously after increasing secularism.

No, left, otherwise I would have said liberal. The original liberals living its original meaning are today's conservatives (originating from the liberal bourgeoisie).
