So place your bets, who's the first one to go away in cuffs?

A federal grand jury in Washington on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, a source briefed on the matter told Reuters.

The filing of the sealed charges was first reported by CNN.

The charges are sealed under orders from a federal judge, and it was not clear what the charges were, adding that anyone facing charges could be taken into custody as soon as Monday.

CNN? Why are you posting this? Isnt CNN just fake news?
2   somecrappynumber   2017 Oct 28, 7:33am

Sorry - isn't CNBC just more fake news?
3   lostand confused   2017 Oct 28, 7:52am

Some thing is fishy-not that charges can't be filed-but something is fishy.

What are you saying?

Mueller, the Honest, Straightforward G-Man who was going to save America from TRUMPLER! the Orange Douche... is now a traitor for investigating Russian Collusion?
5   anonymous   2017 Oct 28, 9:35am

I think we are going to see a basic test of law over demagoguery in the next few days. Will Trump supporters agree to follow the law wherever it may lead or will they back Donald Trump no matter what? The second option is clearly the end of days.
6   MisdemeanorRebel   2017 Oct 28, 9:40am

Another red pill moment as America witnesses the formerly hysterical-about-Russian-Collusion Press bend over backward to minimize the connection between the Hillary Camp, Podesta, and the Democratic Party Leadership with Russia. Even though there is plenty of evidence for the later.

7   lostand confused   2017 Oct 28, 9:50am

Yeah, I have posted before-if there is actual evidence of collusion, I would be fine with Trump in jail-it is about the country and not party or trump.
Looking at the reactions of the dems the last few days-they don't care if the country burns down-it is about trump or the dems-the country be damned. What do you expect, sad.

I hope that Democrats of good will sincerely try to understand what happened and why, and become a force for unity rather than division.

It's a distraction to take heat off the Donks, a narrative shift. Has anyone else noticed this pattern in how they operate?
10   anonymous   2017 Oct 28, 1:36pm

Well, the only way to potentially get Team Crooked was to remove Trump admin from the investigation. Sessions recused and Trump complained but just let it play out.

Granted all of the news that has come forth recently, the "calm before storm / what storm / you'll find out", the FBI gag order lifted, bank accounts and books opened up, seems like it's hard to believe that this is a distraction or a diversion. MSM even primed the topic earlier in the week.
11   steverbeaver   2017 Oct 28, 1:54pm

Yes the 4D chess is good and all. I appreciate and understand why that path was taken. However, I have constantly underestimated the depravity the left will use to hold power and I expect this to be no exception.

So GW Bush's FBI chief and a grand jury under the Trump administration are the "Donks" now?

Doesn't seem like Trump is very concerned this evening:

While not at all presidential I must point out that the Sloppy Michael Moore Show on Broadway was a TOTAL BOMB and was forced to close. Sad!

I'm slightly trying to be a dick here. Not full on dick, but slightly. You did ask people to place their bets on who would be cuffed. I don't think one of these responses in this thread has even chosen a candidate to be cuffed. This is why I think my post with the poll was valid. End slight dick mode.

Many on the forum need to just take a trolling break in my opinion. It's rather rampant here with many users. Whether it's intentional or unconscious I don't know. Some here are more "trolly" than other for sure, but to me a troll is a troll regardless of their level. Actually just thought of a new poll - stayed tuned.

I'd venture to guess if 90% of you all met each other, without knowing each others online "personality," you'd probably get along fine. Who knows, maybe you'd be best pals. I will preface this with the usual, I could be wrong. But from my personal interactions, there's probably only 1-3% of people I've ever met that I truly dislike. Truly dislike as in say what a lot of what is said here to that persons face.

CIC--if you are the least bit self aware, you have to realize that you are the #1 worst offender at this.

What's the problem, if you didn't TROLL so heavily, your posts wouldn't be dissected so frequently.

And, as if on cue, CIC posts attacking the messenger, not the message.

You have a very active imagination. Most democrats are just waiting.

Actually as a democrat, I find the idea of a Hillary connection to the Russian hacking of the election very intriguing. Because it would probably be the tip of the iceburg, and because it kills the right wing narrative that the news is biased against Trump.

So please, nail the guilty democrats that collaborated with Russian first. That would be fine with me. Then when they go after Trump, I don't want to hear any "boo hoo, this isn't fair."

This is the dumbest thing the Liberal shitbirds could have done.
Trump's allegations and accusations against the deep state, Obama, Bush empire, and the Clinton cabal would have ended with a stern warning to never to it again.
Forgive and forget, let bygones be bygones and a political truce, for the sake of restoring Democracy and the Republic.
Now Trump will be after them out for blood. Trump could see them all the way to a firing squad now. Enough is a fucking enough!

This is interesting-if what I am reading is true-these are during the Obama years-when manafort was working with the podesta group. If he starts singing on the Podestas-who also registered late on their foreign transactions-interesting times.

Very likely, this indictment is all about what happened a decade before the Trump campaign. Who was Manafort working with during those years? The Podesta Brothers.

Hey piggy, only one podesta brother is the podesta group. John hasn't worked for podesta group since 1993.

Let's see, trump's actual campaign manager indicted, not a problem. Hillary's campaign manager left the podesta group 25 years ago, big collusion.

Money laundering in 2012,2013 is a decade before the trump campaign? You really really suck at math. But we all knew that.

Spin, spin, spin.

I find this story to be the real interesting one:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/former-trump-campaign-adviser-pleads-guilty-to-lying-to-fbi/ar-AAueuS6?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp
"One of President Trump's former advisers from his presidential campaign has pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents investigating allegations of collusion between the Trump presidential campaign and the Russian government, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said Monday.

George Papadopolous, the 30-year-old foreign policy adviser, pleaded guilty earlier this month, according to court filings unsealed on Monday. The DOJ unsealed the documents shortly after it announced charges against two other higher-ranking, Trump campaign officials - Paul Manafort and Rick Gates.
Prosecutors charged Papadopolous with lying to investigators about his conversations with a foreign professor who told him that Russians had thousands of emails containing "dirt" on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
The Trump aide allegedly told the FBI that those conversations happened before he joined the campaign, statements rebutted by the Justice Department's timeline."

Why did he feel like he needed to lie? What is he hiding? Is he going to cut a deal?

Yep. There will be lots of crap slung at Mueller (not that this is new). Lots of hope and prayers are being directed at shifting the Manafort connection from Trump to Podesta. Trump is already lying about the indictment - not a shocker.

So after a year and a half, after 17 intelligence agencies investigating Russian collusion, Mueller putting together a special panel, we have a jr volunteer saying he lied about talking to Russians?

After a year and a half, that's the BEST Russian collusion evidence that's been found?

Really?
40   steverbeaver   2017 Oct 30, 8:09pm

See? Now the news cycle has something other to cover than Uranium one. Curious timing... almost always just in time to slide the narrative. This won't work though and it is becoming less effective. Even the normies are seeing the pattern now.
