Yeah, Muslim first, American last. Gotta love somebody who criticizes their host country constantly.

Just more liberal logic. Facts are foreign to them.

"Think Progress", apparently she's missing that "think" part.

There is a difference in being wrong in premise and using a bad example.

Though she made a mistake, I find it actually more telling that criticism of Trump is considered criticism of America itself. Also that someone would call America a "host country" to an actual American, simply because she is Iranian and Muslim as well.

Probably a good thing you didn't tweet that.

Will Trump be tweeting about this attack soon?

I'm sure he'll be advocating for the death penalty here too.

She’s pretty cute. Too bad she’s a Muslim SJW

Here's another "I hate America"

America never was America to me
July 4, 2017

America First, the President says, and I know he is not talking about me. But this feeling is not new. I remember being in high school, shaking with self-doubt, as our country prepared for a war I did not understand. “Maybe I am the problem?” So I sought out ways to solve it. I read about Islam in hopes of learning what it was about the religion that led to so much death and destruction. But, confused, I found nothing beyond the beauty of the words I grew up reading with my family on Friday evenings.
I know now that America was never mine. I am an accident, a fluke. I should have been born thousands of miles away. I should have been Iranian. And maybe I would have been, if America hadn’t intervened in that nation’s experiment of democracy in 1953.

Leave for Iran, 2nd Generation Immigrant Backstabber. Say hi to the hijab and Ayatollahs for me.

I used to give a shit, now I don't. The criticism of the US is endless, any criticism of Iran or Kakaswaziziland always centered around colonialism and never what the newly independent states did with their freedom (corruption, engage in civil wars and tribal violence, etc.) Fuck the Third World.

EDIT: Her list of articles is basically typical "Woe the Black and Brown People under America's Evil Oppression" crap, and that's pretty much every piece. There's a hilariously stereotypical yarn about Islam and Feminism, too.

Oopsie-doopsie. Iran isn't on that list.

You are off by a good deal.

That would be: Born in America, 2nd generation American daughter struggles with American identity, in relation to fear and intolerance directed toward parents immigrant origins. So basically, something all too familiar to most of our American lineages. I know my European ancestors got the same treatment in their 1st and 2nd gens here.

"I should have been born thousands of miles away. I should have been Iranian," is purposefully not the same as"I wish I was."

You seem to have a big picture read issue here, or maybe more accurately, your prejudice has already dictated what Elham's words mean, without ever fully reading.

I think Elham and her parents would surprise you on their criticisms of Iran.

Just how we managed to get pretty different interpretations of what she said in the blog post, interpretation is everything. I have no doubt Islam will make much room for women with new interpretations. After all, most of Christianity did, even the Mormon's managed it too.

I didn't know MuslimFucks sent dead people to jail. They must be food for the living inmates.

No, not intolerance.

The Cult of Multi makes any mere polite inquiry into somebody's background the equivalent of a Nazi Interrogation. It see language immersion as a threat to the identity they wish to preserve, while remaining aloof from mainstream America.

Previous generations said "Fuck you, I'm American. I play Baseball and eat burgers."

Many (but not all) of the not-at-all-Western Diversity Immigrants do not want to be European at all. They want to keep most of their culture and language, while enjoying the welfare and other benefits. They must largely conform to Western Civ or GTFO.

Her parents are probably Red Shi'a or Tudeh followers who left Iran in the 70s when the Shah was going after the Reds.

I'm no longer interested hearing in bitching about America from 2nd Gen Immigrants. They can get in touch the "The authentic culture my parents left behind that wasn't Oppressive(LOL), Racist (LOL LOL), Materialist (BWAHAHA) as Evil America" by returning to their parent's home country.

So to be clear, persecuted in one country, received with open arms in America ... until about now. Got it.

How do you square all the anti-islamic sentiment here (Pnet), and even expressed by you, with a belief that her parents and she herself wouldn't feel the same things from her community? You really think that's her experience?

I'm guessing you have never, not even for a day, felt what it is like to be a true minority where it is very outwardly visible by your appearance.

Send her to my lair, ill set her free from all those demons. After a nice dose of dick jihad on her fun box, she’ll be lululu-ing to an American God

It's fun making statements like "Trump is GOD!" and "Trump For Emperor Forever!" around TDS sufferers, and watch them have an epileptic fit, flopping around on the pavement and needing transfusions for lost tear fluid.

And proceeding to spit in America's face. Nevermind her amazing lifestyle here - and her ability to speak out.

My old man was Head of Maintenance at a State University. The first thing the Stabestinian Students did after getting Student Visas and Taxpayer Free Rides for being "poor, oppressed people", was to protest the USA every weekend at the student center. I shit you not.

People forget but in the 70s and early 80s, all the bombings were from Leftists, and they were regular. He used to be called in at least once a month to meet with police and campus security when a bomb threat was called in - and several of them exploded. That's when they installed the first cameras and slide card readers. Can you guess what building he was in charge of?

Sure I have, I've been to Asia.

I have, and so has my wife.

By far the most racism I have experienced has been from leftist.

Take errrc for instance. Here's what he said about my wife.

So I've experienced racism, and actually have been a victim of it here on PatNet. Doesn't mean you can't talk and debate things such as whether "diversity" or "unity" is more helpful for society as a whole. IMO the latter is a far more stabilizing factor than the former. So I think TwoScoopsMcgee has a point.

If you hate Western Culture, and think America isn't that great, then there are 194 other countries to possibly call home!
18   MisdemeanorRebel   2017 Nov 27, 2:31pm

Another thing I've noticed. You get a Jamaican or Nigerian from a modest or poor background, they come here and do very well. Nothing but praise for the USA.

You get a well-off/wealthy person fleeing Iran or investing from Columbia that already has cash socked away, and they - or more likely their kids - are total anti-American snotrag bigots.

You'd be surprised how many Paleban, Afghan, etc. people have money stashed all over the world in large amounts.

But fortunately, it's changing back from "POC and America Hating is cool" to "Western and White is A-Okay."

I used to care, then I stopped because of the ungrateful, mean-spirited criticism from people like the OP, America took in their family when it didn't have to, and our reward for our good deed is nasty, degrogatory remarks over and over again.

It's kinda like that Cult Movie "House Guests". They moved in and now want everything their way.
