There are so many STEM guys here, I figure somebody might know.

Thinking about how long an orbiter/lander would survive.

I understand it’s pretty fucking intense, at least on the side facing Jupiter. That gas giant puts off some serious rads.

Also there isn’t much known about how active the ice tectonics are, so any lander would have to deal with moving ice underneath it.
