#CyberMonday

Nothing here. I guess I am getting cheap in my old age. I prefer however, to be called frugal.

I was thinking about buying a SSD replacement for my old Lenovo C440 desktop. Decided it wasn't worth the cost or trouble. My AIO desktop works just fine.

If it's too old it will break down any moment. I heard Costco has an Acer laptop for $199.

I bought nothing. I bought some car parts on black Friday, but I needed those, and would have bought them anyway

I'm going on year 7 and I'm pretty sure my computer could beat your computer up. Just saying ;)

We have Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Boxing Day sales in Canada. Most of the prices are not much better than the usual weekly flyers. It's been that way for years now. Still, lots of Canadians flock to the 'sales'. When Target Canada failed (very quickly) the liquidation sales were less than stellar, and yet shoppers were there in the early days (when the deals were at their worst) loading up. Pathetic. There seems to be a majority of shoppers that are clueless.

Blew my wad on Black Friday. Once the xmas shopping was done I ran up $1800 worth of fish tank gear for myself.

Bought a battery from a local Apple repair expert for my wife's iPhone 6. It was past the cycles they support, but you'd think a battery for a $700 device would be guaranteed for more than 2 years.

IPhone batteries are easy enough to replace. I'm pretty sure that most, if not all the regulars here could do it. Aftermarket batteries are cheap enough.
