Obviously don’t know the details yet. Wasn’t particularly fond of Lauer. But at the current pace, all men are going to be fired for doing anything remotely resembling harassment.

After all of the sex scandal carnage, will it be a Republican or a Democrat as the last man standing?

This needs a serious betting pool.

The good news is NBC is starting a new morning pilot program entitled, "Wanna Fuck Matt?" and win $10000.00.

Matt Lauer has always been a depraved leftist cuck. He's the kind of person that APOCALYPSEFUCK_is_ADORABLE often describes.

I saw a site that said the count was up to 72 total before Lauer, Franken and Conyers.
I say this is the dawn of a new day for women. About time. It's never the end, but it'll put a chill to men of power who exploit the powerless.

Matt Lauer Accused of Sexual Harassment by Multiple Women.

As the co-host of NBC’s “Today,” Matt Lauer once gave a colleague a sex toy as a present. It included an explicit note about how he wanted to use it on her, which left her mortified.

On another day, he summoned a different female employee to his office, and then dropped his pants, showing her his penis. After the employee declined to do anything, visibly shaken, he reprimanded her for not engaging in a sexual act.

These accounts of Lauer’s behavior at NBC are the result of a two-month investigation by Variety, with dozens of interviews with current and former staffers. Variety has talked to three women who identified themselves as victims of sexual harassment by Lauer, and their stories have been corroborated by friends or colleagues that they told at the time.

Several women told Variety they complained to executives at the network about Lauer’s behavior, which fell on deaf ears given the lucrative advertising surrounding “Today.” NBC declined to comment.

What's scary is that enough people watch "Today" that makes advertising on it worthwhile.

Seriously, is nobody scared that somebody under 65 is watching "Today"?

I can't believe anybody other than somebody bored shitless in a nursing home is watching.

Sex Toys, Penis Shots, & Sexting: Details Emerge About Matt Lauer's Sexual Harassment.

Fearing being followed by tabloid reporters, Lauer reportedly pursued relationships with female colleagues because he is married and feared being caught cheating. He kept an office in a secluded space at 30 Rock, and even had a button under his desk that allowed him to lock his door from the inside, which is incredibly creepy.

In its report, Variety paints Lauer as vain, crude and lecherous - a far cry from the “America’s Dad” image he cultivated at Today.

The daytime host was reportedly “obsessed” with women’s bodies and had numerous affairs with female employees at NBC.

“There were a lot of consensual relationships, but that’s still a problem because of the power he held,” says a former producer who knew first-hand of these encounters. “He couldn’t sleep around town with celebrities or on the road with random people, because he’s Matt Lauer and he’s married. So he’d have to do it within his stable, where he exerted power, and he knew people wouldn’t ever complain."

In one shocking anecdote, a producer recounted how Lauer exposed himself to her after inviting her to his office.

On another day, he summoned a different female employee to his office, and then dropped his pants, showing her his penis. After the employee declined to do anything, visibly shaken, he reprimanded her for not engaging in a sexual act.

He even reportedly gave one colleague a sex toy as a gift with a note saying he’d like to use it on her.

Said it in another thread. Convinced his issue is with other men. We'll see. He's on the news relatively frequently in my area and he just seems queer. Might not have any issues, but doesn't make sense he's quitting when he could continue to get elected over and over again with little effort. The district is hand drawn for Hispanic voters.

After being abruptly fired on Wednesday, Lauer has issued his first public statement since the scandal broke.

For the people he has hurt, Lauer says he's "truly sorry". He also pledged to make reflection and soul searching his "full-time job".

"Troubling flaws" ?

WOW! There are assholes, and there are psychopaths but a guy who barely avoided being dragged in and convicted of rape bragging sideways that he somehow has to endure his own imperfections has achieved a new degree of twistedness.

Maybe Lauer can get a cable access show torturing and raping unwanted pets and kicking over people in wheelchairs.

Why is it when these depraved rapist get caught (Franken, Lauer), they always go to their trusty "I'm going to take time to reflect on my sexual deviancy." Go reflect, and GTFO (looking at you Franken).

Yeah. Also there's some shady shit with paying his wife $400k as a staffer and some other things.

Never was a fan of Laurer....never understood why people liked him.

But I don’t think he’s really that left wing. He likes his taxes low and probably voted for Trump.

The main mistake all these guys make is in apologizing. They should never ever apologize.

It's just baring one's belly to a pack of rabid wolves and saying "Please please like me! Don't rip my guts out!"

Absolutely the wrong strategy, just makes you look weak, deserving of contempt and extreme punishment.

A better strategy would be to say "She asked me to do it. End of story."

The best strategy is to smirk and say nothing at all. Takes balls of steel.

"Huge Bag Of Sex Toys": At Least 8 Women Now Accuse Lauer Of Harassment.

And now, NBC’s top brass, which said they fired Lauer after an employee filed a complaint about inappropriate behavior that reportedly began during NBC’s coverage in Sochi (and who claim they were blissfully unaware of what was going on) are saying that the number of women accusing Lauer of harassment has risen to eight.

According to Fox, NBC’s Stephanie Gosk revealed to Megyn Kelly during the 9 am hour of “Today” that there could be up to eight accusers, as details surfaced about the star's alleged lewd behavior and old video clips back in circulation raised eyebrows.

One of the most disturbing stories about Lauer’s conduct emerged yesterday when a former NBC employee told the New York Times about a 2001 incident where Lauer called her into his office, asked her to unbutton her blouse, then bent her over his desk and violated her. During the middle of the act, she apparently passed out. He then had one of his assistants take her to a nurse.

In another cringeworthy moment, Meredith Vieira brought up a "huge bag of sex toys" she once found in Matt Lauer's office when Lauer and fellow Today host Savannah Guthrie were guests on Vieira’s talk show. To be sure, Matt was "quick on his feet", and blamed a sex therapist who had appeared on "Today", although his co-hosts don't seem to recall that particular encounter.

We expect more disturbing stories of Lauer’s workplace conduct will emerge in the near future.

Notice how two female co-anchors (Samantha Guthrie and Ann Curry) came on the Today Show right after Matt Lauer was fired and expressed how hurt they were about their good friend Matt Lauer turning out to be guilty of such. I suspect these two women were merely laying the groundwork so they could claim they were not aware of Matt's behavior all along. With all the new accusations coming out, it seems Matt's behavior was too widespread and often for the whole cast, crew, and management not to be aware of it. Interesting to see if Samantha Guthrie, Ann Curry, or the Today Show itself will lose popularity with viewers since they covered for Matt Lauer.
