I've been saying this for a while. Let's see, I've got my movie, my munchies, and oh yeah, my car! All ready for a good time.

I drove stoned once when I was 18. The speed limit was 55, and when I looked down, I was doing 30. My buddy and I busted up laughing as we were on our way to grab food (munchies).

It's safe to drive high it's not safe to drive incapacitated under any circumstances. If smoking bothers your motor skills then you should drive period.

I'm less likely to cause someone else to have an accident because I passed them and they freaked out because they are on legally prescribed opiates.

Unfortunately I wish those selfish drivers considered those they are hindering for miles behind them, more than they get outrageously upset when you find your out and a way to pass them. They toil over everyone passing them, and don't give two shits about those riding their ass flashing their bright lights.

Those people aren’t stoned

They’re women

Alcohol actually heightens my motor skills, at the right dose. When Halo was still big, I whipped my brother-in-law and his friends ass after downing a few beers. And they were about 9 years younger.

Correction: Alcohol lowers your motor skills while tricking you into thinking it enhances your performance. A dangerous combination

Too much, definitely, but myself and a friend have both found that the right amount heightens them. The game doesn't lie, and kids usually own you when it comes to FPS.

I doubt this is isolated to just the two of us though:

Another place I've seen this phenomenon happen is on the golf course. At least as long as they know when to pump the brakes on consumption with it taking 4-5 hours to play a round. Sometimes people just think too much in that sport and I've seen some really average golfers have amazing rounds slightly buzzed cause they're not thinking and loose. Like scores they've never hit in past serious golfing experience.

What are your thoughts on simultaneous exposure to cannabis and vodka?

Alcohol solves all problems - temporaily

I'm a ping pong player and also definitely find that a small dose of alcohol, like 1 or 2 drinks, somehow improves my ability. I actually win more. Not sure how that can be, maybe more relaxation and less thinking.

When my bass player and I get together we often try to play without at least a 6 pack of beer.
It's just lifeless and lacks any enthusiasm at all. We go get a six pack, we haven't even had more than one sip of the first one yet, and we're already playing better.
There's a reason they call it "Spirits".
