Until Liberals can learn to champion going after abusers and stop pretending that America's Social program budgets are NOT at least 60% bigger than they need to be just because of fraud. But disingenuous Liberals always attack people wanting to stop fraud in our Social nets, and then twist their Narrative to say they are saying they don't want any safety net at all. It's just all dishonesty it's the only game they know, they don't know anything else. We could have a great Welfare system, and safety net for the poor. But the Liberals use it to divide people up. It's not if you're really hungry and deserve those programs, it's all about that pantone chart and political optics for them.

I watched time and time again in 2008 when middle class people lost their houses, their jobs, and thrown out on the Streets. Every State in the country laughed at the Whiteys when they showed up with their hat in their hand to get some assistance. They were ridiculed because they made too much money last year. But this was this year(in 2008) and the money now gone from last year was doing them no good to put food on the table for their kids today.

But they see time and time again, immigrants and minorities driving new model cars, without a job and taking advantage of every social program out there. They do it for their job it's their career path. When middle class get in a tight spot and just need one or two months of help they are turned away time and time again. They can't get help they don't count.

How long do you expect the middle class to go along with this farce?

The Clock is ticking you clowns you better find a new business this radio is busted.

The facts of welfare

The facts have no relevance to the libertarian/conservative message.

Sorry, but although the OP has a point about things like the estate tax, which frankly shouldn’t have been messed with, 10lbBass also has a few good points. Disability is the new welfare for the majority of recipients, and it’s easier than ever to qualify. It not only pays better, but some doctors will even consider you disabled if you don’t have a college education. There are enough safety net programs out there that an enterprising leech can live quite comfortably off the government teat, especially if they subsidize their income with child support, drugs, or a little casual burglary.

We don’t need a permanent welfare class. We need able bodied people to pick fruit and vegetables, maybe even some goddam strawberries if they want to keep themselves in 40 oz. drinks!

We also need tradesmen. Millions of trades jobs are going unfilled for lack of skilled workers. If the permanent welfare money wasn’t so easy to get and keep as a lifestyle, we would see a lot more undereducated people learning to weld or plumb or even run conduit for electrical. Brick laying is still needed as is iron working and a large variety of other skills. And these trades pay a living wage, which would bring self respect and dignity to a class of people who’ve long considered themselves worthless to society. Keep them worthless and their attitude reflects that. You get more crime, poverty, neglect of children, bad schools, and social problems.
But help them get their self respect with honest work and you’d raise an entire class of people up from the gutter into the light of civilization.

Sounds like a job for the people who were searching for Dem election fraud. They found a few stale registrations including Ivanka's. I can't wait to see how many people they find on the disabled list for lacking a college diploma. They might even find some young men with bone spurs.

Unemployment rate is down to 4% nationwide and near zero in some parts of the US with literally every jobs in those areas paying above a livable wage. Why are the welfare rolls not decreasing?

This idea derives from our belief that the U.S. is a meritocracy where the most deserving rise to the top. Yet where a person ends up on the income ladder is tied to where they started out.

Total Bullshit.

Almost all kids start out at minimum wage when teenagers working part time jobs. If your in your 30's and still working a minimum wage job, YOU'RE the problem, not the system.

Most welfare recipients are makers not takers.

Another total bullshit statement. Go stand in line at the checkout in Walmart and watch who's paying with a EBT card. These are definitely NOT "makers".

SO, you believe the government unemployment statistics. Obviously the government would never tamper with numbers. And yes they pay a livable wage if you are not too lazy to work 200+ hours per week.

I guess these go along with the myth that the homeless are mentally ill, alcoholic or drug addicted. They are just individuals down on their luck who need a helping hand.

Those darned pesky myths.
