I refuse to watch this movie in the theaters.

I'd listened to other viewers and this is possibly ... the most pathetic Star Wars movie (minus the 1st two prequels), of all time.

The last straw was that Princess Leia was flying about in the vacuum of space, without a spacesuit, to prove that she's got some genomic 'force' power, despite zero training her entire life. Seriously, how can anyone even watch such a movie!

It's all about the merchandising, as Mel Brooks said in "Spaceballs".

Maybe they have some outtakes of Carrie Fisher snorting some of her last lines of coke on set.

At least they admit that they're full of assholes.

I like Star Trek. Especially when they have space wars with those evil Klingons.
By the way Star Trek is not fiction, it's real. Ask anyone.

It would be better with a 2nd Amendment theater shooting.
Doesn't matter what anyone says! It's not too early!

You know it sucks because you refuse to watch it. Err...

Star wars pushes Rin's buttons because of his affinity for the dark side of the force.

Hey Rin, which alien chick would you be willing to fuck?

To quote "Alfie" ... I'll fuck anything with face, boobs, & bum!

On the other foot, I can't endorse a completely failed franchise and its attempts at making more money.

Since you're talking about aliens, how about a busty vulcan? ...

13   Ceffer   2017 Dec 20, 11:09am

A Vulcan with a landing strip. That's not logical.

Movie is actually pretty good, saw it in an uncrowded theater on Coronado island this past Saturday. And this is coming from someone saw Return of the Jedi in the theater.

Humans need a guidance system.

Remember, it's ok for Vulcans and humans to bang, just as long as they don't procreate.

Hell with it, I'm just going to say it...All these damn superhero, star wars, transformer, vampire, ghost, and animation type movies are for kids, not for adults.

I know you know this, but it is science fiction. Almost everything in these movies are unbelievable and not scientifically possible or achievable in our lifetimes or ever. Wookies? Light speed? Light sabers? Star ships getting damaged and spinning off into the distance? The force itself? The list is fucking endless with how ridiculous these movie are.

I'd be rather surprised if Leia was the tipping point for you. Literally everything in the Star Wars franchise is completely far fetched. That's why people like it. I could be wrong, but is there a slight nostalgic bias towards the original trilogy vs these newer ones? Don't get me wrong, love the original trilogy, but let's be honest here, New Hope is one cheesy movie if you really think about it. Bad acting too.

I was fine with this movie, not too high on it and not too low. Good entertainment. Need to watch it again in the comfort of my movie room to get a better feel for it.

I also sort of hated it.

The first part where I actually cringed was the “bomber” run on the star destroyers where they (for some asinine reason) had to get these clunky slow ships right over the top of the destroyer to “drop bombs.” It was like the writer/Directors just said “fuck space, we’ll pretend we’re bombing Hamburg!” Noisy explosions in vacuum aside, sometimes they just go too far. I was more ok with Leia discovering an ability to fly like a space vampire than I was with the blatant deus ex machina on display every time the writer needed a plot line. Just none of it made any sense at all.
