As of today in summary (less freedom, more taxes, easier to keep illegal immigrant employees and abuse them vs hiring Americans!! yay democrats)

- more regulations on the books (can't ask potential employees about criminal record anymore or previous salary). Apparently murderers had hard time getting jobs.
- recording videos of violent attacks and posting them on facebook means prison time.
- free tampons for low-income students (Dan must be psyched!)
- more taxes, about $20-$175 per vehicle, unless you are Tesla... Tesla is special and apparently does not use the roads.
- more deviances and drugs legalized.
- more prisoner releases to cut down costs, and cut down safety too.
- police will now gather "rape kits", thanks feminists.
- more fines for not wearing seatbelt on a bus
- it is legal to give someone HIV without telling the first.
- more taxes on real estate transactions to pay for "low-income housing for blacks" (permanent voter base)
- sanctuary state (will no longer cooperate with ICE)
- illegals are given 72 hour notice before a raid so that employees can hide them and pretend nothing was wrong at the factory.

Good job CA voters! Pretty soon everything this government offers will be so expensive that only government insiders will be able to afford it, and the rest will be treated like slaves living paycheck to paycheck. Like paying high prices for water and electricity? Well more taxes on roads and more taxes are coming. This government needs to be abolished!!!

Just in case here it is on la times for those who want to do their own reading:

Really? Is this a thing?? Wait, it's CA so of course it is.

- it is legal to give someone HIV without telling the first.

Why would you want to tell them first? It would spoil the surprise.

- free tampons for low-income students

I didn't realize that they were such a budget breaker ... but I am a male, so what do I know.

Wow, and the wacky just keep getting wackier.

Your past doesn't indicate your future, but if you've done something (like rob, rape, kill) in the past it means it's not beyond your thinking (and being okay with it) in the future so - yeah, lets hire him/her. Wow.

The homeless problem in Los Angeles is out of control with Garcettiville tent cities popping up everywhere.

Thanks Eric Cuckcetti!

BART is chockfull of homeless this morning. The roundtrip to SF is $12.20 now (vs $11 couple of days ago). I'm sure every single one of them paid $12.20.

They don't have projected liabilities that are 4-5 times higher than their state's GDP, so their doing okay.

I vote these 2 as the most stupid. Fucking bleeding heart liberals.

I can hardly wait for the state legislators smoking doobies as they preside while granting themselves ever more extortionate benefits.

The headless corpses dangling from the freeway overpasses will be a big tourist draw.

Why is this a problem? Also, what was the old standard which you were presumably happier with?

If you're not having random anal sex with the homeless and homosexuals, you wouldn't have to worry about this, sounds like a personal problem, what is it with you SJW's?

If it is no big deal, why would California legislators take time from their busy day of bankrupting California to make a law about something like this?

Apparently a lot of guys are into unprotected anal sex with the homeless and other random men.

If you’re wondering who these people are, it’s without a doubt the same people who complain the most about Trans people, gays, and the liberals idea of promoting Safe Sex

Ahem. Yes. cough cough. So back in the day when people from across the ocean (as opposed to across the border) were coming into the United State along with their slaves - was that not considered illegal immigration?

By what set of laws exactly?

Since you asked, here is the story of first illegal immigration to america aboard a ship called Mayflower:

The settlers explored the snow-covered area and discovered an empty native village, now known as Corn Hill in Truro. The curious settlers dug up some artificially made mounds, some of which stored corn, while others were burial sites. The modern writer Nathaniel Philbrick claims that the settlers stole the corn and looted and desecrated the graves,[26] sparking friction with the locals.[27] Philbrick goes on to say that they explored the area of Cape Cod for several weeks as they moved down the coast to what is now Eastham, and he claims that the Pilgrims were looting and stealing native stores as they went.[28] He then writes about how they decided to relocate to Plymouth after a difficult encounter with the Nausets at First Encounter Beach in December 1620.

So, lo and behold, stealing, illegal entry, vandalism, destruction of property, occupation of houses, inter-racial hate crime (digging up sacred burial sites) and this was just the start of a long love affair.

Where is the answer to my question? By what law landing on American continent was illegal at that time?

That's a pretty irrelevant question, because it assumes that people aboard the Mayflower cared about laws. One has to first care about laws, to find out if there are any laws, and then find out whether they are breaking those laws. The illegal immigrants that came aboard Mayflower had absolutely no such guilt regarding laws. But obviously, breaking and entering hasn't been legal anytime in human history at any place on this planet.

Actually it wasn't illegal immigration. Anyone could come in at that time.

Sure, thats what the descendants of illegal immigrants 5-10 generations down the road always claim. Everybody and their illegal ancestors wanna be "son of the soil" until its time to move to a new place. I mean, going around parading that "me" and/or "my ancestors" immigrated illegally has never been fashionable, so sugar coat it: puritans, freedom seekers, whatever... I mean the native americans (or whatever is left of them) certainly aren't writing history, the descendants of all the illegal immigrants are.

Illegal immigrants? What borders of what nation-State was ever violated? Many of the East Coast tribes were nomadic when Colombus came to town.

If this is in fact true, it's really sad.

I'm beyond thrilled that I left 2 years ago. I'll visit the national parks, but that's it.
