Perhaps today's Sessions move on Marjuana is meant to distract from this ? Book apparently came out today.

Didn't we all know that he didn't even want to be President ?

Marcus Marcus Marcus.....So Trump did not want to be President, yet he ran for the Presidency, spent a ton of money running for the Presidency, devoted most part of 2016 running for the Presidency, and when he won he took the oath of being the President. But he didn't want to be President.
The next thing you will say is...1+1=3. Because when they got together, they had a baby.

Well, don't we already have a similar loony theory floating on this site? The one which says that ACA was a Republican-written legislation which Democrats didn't want to pass, but somehow ended up passing without a single Republican congressmen joining them. But they didn't want it.

Trump Admin just reopened the Hillary Email case a few days ago, now they reopened the Clinton Foundation. The Committee just got a judge to compel FusionGPS to hand over their bank records, so we'll know who paid FusionGPS for the Fake Dossier.

And yeah, Republican Donors paid FusionGPS earlier for oppo research on Trump, but not for the Dodgy Dossier. That came months after the Republican Donors gave up when Jeb exited the race (Please clap).

although fake, it's very close to reality as Trump and the gorilla share many things in common.

Please keep hyping this, especially the Roy Cohn stuff.

Decades later and the mention of that Patriot's name in busting the Traitorous Rosenbergs sends Upper East Side Judeo-Bolsheviks into a frenzy of rage.

True.

He wanted to be KING, but that slot wasn't available.

So he took the second position that was open.

It’s a looney theory that ACA is Republican legislation?

Who authored the ppACA?

Why do you think the Republican majority still hasn’t repealed and replaced ‘Obamacare’ then?

False. The Dossier was initially funded by the Republicans. That is an established fact.

IT's absolutely true that if Trump had lost, after saying and continuing to say how rigged it was for "crooked" Hillary, he would have been set to build a right wing empire, with his new best buddy Bannon. Also, not only did he not spend any of his own money running, he probably made money running by paying significant fees from his campaign to his Trump Jet, and to his properties.

What ever you do, don't read the linked article.

Anyone who saw his acceptance speech knew immediately he was completely beside himself and scared to death.

The plan was to leverage the campaign for other opportunities. That was obvious.

I always thought so, but the book confirms it, based on interviews. And that even his campaign advisers questioned whether he was qualified to be President.

By the way, the Gorilla think is a fake excerpt, just in case anyone was wondering.

Trump didn't really want to be President, so he worked with Vladimir Putin to hack the National election so he could be President.

Yes, Fusion GPS was initially paid for general Oppo Research by Republicans. BUT, the Work on the Dossier came AFTER the Republicans dropped FusionGPS when it was clear Trump was the nominee (May 2016). The Dossier was funded when the Clinton Camp, using the buffer layer of Perkins-Coie, was paying Fusion GPS (they began paying Fusion in April 2016).

Steele wasn't hired by FusionGPS until June 2016, after the Free Beacon Republican guy stopped paying FusionGPS.

The whole thing is dirty as hell. Nellie Ohr worked for Fusion GPS with Steele and on the Dodgy Dossier directly, while her husband was the Deputy Associate AG Bruce Ohr, and he met with Steele and worked with the "Heroine" Sally Yates, Obama's acting AG. Jill McCabe took six figures from Gov. McAuliffe, the Top Clinton Ally, at the same time her husband, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, was in charge of investigating the Clinton Emails.

Thing is, they thought Clinton would win hands-down and none of this would be discovered, and if so, they'd face no risk of prosecution, and in the very worst case get a President Clinton Pardon. Now they're in panic mode, hence the haste to try to weaken or impeach Trump ASAP. The nexus runs all over the FBI, the Media, Lobbying Firms, all desperate to escape the trap of their own creation.

This is a shining example of "The Swamp".

Too bad Michale Wolff is a blatant liar!

The author of the explosive new Trump book says he can't be sure if parts of it are true.

The author of the explosive new book about Donald Trump's presidency acknowledged in an author's note that he wasn't certain all of its content was true.

Michael Wolff, the author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages.

But some were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing's workings, in a process Wolff describes as "allowing the reader to judge" whether the sources' claims are true.

Here is the relevant part of the note, from the 10th page of the book's prologue:

"Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.

Well, Putin clearly wanted Trump to be President. Apparently his son and Kushner and Bannon wanted him to be President too. But Bannon would have won way bigger if Trump had lost, as would Trump.

Isn't he referring to the dishonesty of those that would contradict him ?

Remember Trump himself has said things such as "Obama wire taped me," or how about the recent doozy. After all the fuss about men in poser sexually assaulting women, Trump now says that wasn't his voice on that Bus recording (about grabbing pussy).

You can't make this stuff up !!

Acutaually the book says this.

As the campaign came to an end, Trump himself was sanguine. His ultimate goal, after all, had never been to win. “I can be the most famous man in the world,” he had told his aide Sam Nunberg at the outset of the race. His longtime friend Roger Ailes, the former head of Fox News, liked to say that if you want a career in television, first run for president. Now Trump, encouraged by Ailes, was floating rumors about a Trump network. It was a great future. He would come out of this campaign, Trump assured Ailes, with a far more powerful brand and untold opportunities.

“This is bigger than I ever dreamed of,” he told Ailes a week before the election. “I don’t think about losing, because it isn’t losing. We’ve totally won.”

He wanted it to be close. Maybe he was even willing to try the President thing, because that's making him even more famous and gives him even more attention. But he saw it as a win/win and secretly would have been relieved if he lost, but with it close.

We all know he was talking a lot about it being rigged even before the vote.

More:

Most presidential candidates spend their entire careers, if not their lives from adolescence, preparing for the role. They rise up the ladder of elected offices, perfect a public face, and prepare themselves to win and to govern. The Trump calculation, quite a conscious one, was different. The candidate and his top lieutenants believed they could get all the benefits of almost becoming president without having to change their behavior or their worldview one whit. Almost everybody on the Trump team, in fact, came with the kind of messy conflicts bound to bite a president once he was in office. Michael Flynn, the retired general who served as Trump’s opening act at campaign rallies, had been told by his friends that it had not been a good idea to take $45,000 from the Russians for a speech. “Well, it would only be a problem if we won,” Flynn assured them.

Not only did Trump disregard the potential conflicts of his own business deals and real-estate holdings, he audaciously refused to release his tax returns. Why should he? Once he lost, Trump would be both insanely famous and a martyr to Crooked Hillary. His daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared would be international celebrities. Steve Bannon would become the de facto head of the tea-party movement. Kellyanne Conway would be a cable-news star. Melania Trump, who had been assured by her husband that he wouldn’t become president, could return to inconspicuously lunching. Losing would work out for everybody. Losing was winning.

Shortly after 8 p.m. on Election Night, when the unexpected trend — Trump might actually win — seemed confirmed, Don Jr. told a friend that his father, or DJT, as he calls him, looked as if he had seen a ghost. Melania was in tears — and not of joy.
