“It has been calculated that a temperature rise corresponding to a 10 per cent increase in carbon dioxide will be sufficient to melt the icecap and submerge New York.”
So we raised atmospheric CO2 by not 10%, but 25% since 1950, and New York City somehow remains above sea level, the polar ice caps remain frozen, and this guy proves that calculations only matter when one has good data. Garbage in, garbage out (GIGO) even in 1959.
Not disputing that there is an effect, but these prognostications remind me of the club of rome which calls for mankind's extinctions every decade or so. The dying of the forests, polar bears and what not. Agree that you have to have very good data to make such a bold call.
"I won't believe any of this until after it has happened. Even then it might be fake news, because possibly libbie scientists will have created some simulation that they put me in making it appear that the oceans have risen 6 feet and populations of entire countries are disrupted. It's a liberal conspiracy I tell ya, I just know it !"
