Do you have an example website up of what you're talking about?
if you use one of the free forum software offerings, you could get the monthly price down even further.
@Patrick now my posts aren’t showing up at all. They seem to vanish into the ether after i post um
Patrick something is broken again, my ‘personal’ button went missing

It's possible that one of the moderators deleted a comment.
his is the second time this has happened, yet it doesn’t seem to happen to anyone else

What gives? This is the second time this has happened, yet it doesn’t seem to happen to anyone else. Am I being singled out and censored?
Probably having your post go through moderation due to personal attacks.
@errc OK, try again, this time it really really will work.Problem was, when a moderator deletes enough of a user's comments, it also bumps down the user's permissions. I forgot I had added that.
BTW, thanks for the screenshot! I have to say patrick.net looks OK on your phone.
Patrick - I don't think the number of posts are being added correctly when you look up a user. I looked myself up and it said I only had 4 posts, which I have more than that. Screen shot included here. When I click through you can see all my posts (clicking the number 4), just doesn't appear to be adding correctly or at all on the user summary screen if that makes sense. Minor issue.
I suppose it could flame up some personal attacks, so I understand the logic behind not allowing people to see who disliked a comment. I would just then ask why have it at all then?
you should create some sort of user score metric so we can see who the better users are.
Obviously from this thread you'd like to monetize this beast. I have no idea if this suggestion is something that helps that.
That's kind of the idea behind being able to sort the user list at https://patrick.net/users You can sort by various measures. Maybe I should have a "sort by like/dislike ratio"?
