Are you drunk? Your post reads as if you’re slurring
P.S. i was looking for the direct message button earlier as well, and i didn’t mean to question your soberness as a personal attack.
Ask your grandparents.I wish I'd thought to ask my mother who was 16 at the time if she or her family knew anyone who got sick or died from the 1918 flu out in West Texas. I know they didn't lose anyone in their immediate family, but with nearly 670,000 Americans killed and many more sickened I don't see how anyone could not at least know someone whom it made sick. My mother lived to be 94 and she never had the flu during my lifetime. I had a real bad case in 1968 and that was the only time I've had it. I do get shots today, but haven't even had a cold yet this year.
Are we becoming big pussies?
I feel like every year the flu it getting worse and worse.

Yes

Because people are lazy, out of shape with weak immune systems from sitting on their asses surfing on their iPhones. You can build up antibodies sitting in your bedroom. People need to be out and about, being exposed to "life", which helps build immunity.
Plus, we are so overly medicated and overloaded with antibiotics for every little sniffle, our bodies can't fight normal viruses anymore.
I honestly believe that each year more and more mothers are choosing formula over breast milk for convenience and that is the reason why more kids are getting hit harder every flu season. Breast milk plays a vital role in the immune system development.

Flu is not one of these.
Got it right now. Taking elderberry extract and zinc to shorten duration and reduce symptoms. Elderberry is a natural antiviral agent which also boosts T-cells. It’s effectiveness has been compared to Tamiflu. So I feel like shit but I’m hopefully going to get better fast.
How many dropped dead from shock while listening to #AmnestyDon blow bullshit through the room like he was the big bad wolf?
Drink lots of water (always)
Kudos for making a sarcastic flu thread political.

Sorry, had to delete that as it's clearly personal.
But to the topic, I find that a glass of red wine with dinner each night has prevented me from getting the flu for many years. I know it's hard to believe, but I'm quite certain it works in my own case. I suspect that the "bigger" wines like Syrah and Cabernet work better than light wines like Pinot Noir, but I can't prove it.

Kudos for getting offended by what was clearly a joke and not responding to the point that about 1000 people have died from the flue, yet many are more worried about getting shot by an illegal or blown up by ISIS.
I already had BOTH weaponized flu bugs earlier in 2017. Both, the worst that I can ever remember.
Flu used to kill lots of kids, one of the victories of the 20th century.
the flu killed 50-100 million people. That was 3-5% of the world's population at the time
I just don't recall seeing this in my 28ish years of solid memories.

I get it but i clarified to him i didn’t mean it as a personal attack, i just wish I could have the rest of the post back as it was just information. But i get it, your resident troublemaker used to use it as a char...

Anyone Get The Flu? Or Are We Becoming Pussies?
I'll probably get it.
I'll try to write some really annoying long winded posts over the next coupe of hours
The flu sucks, I'll probably get it. I just don't get what is going on. I feel like every year the flu it getting worse and worse. I don't actually think it is and it's all hype. I'm am substantially lazier then most of you, so anyone that can show me it's getting worse I would appreciate it.
