#restaurants40 years ago, Rio had one charming Mexican Restaurant-Lagoa Charlie's. It had real food from Mexico and not Tex-Mex. The Margaritas were world class. Its walls were adorned with pictures from the Mexican Revolution, Pancho Villa, etc. Maria and I had many happy meals there in the 70's. Now it's gone. Elena and I stumbled onto Casa Orozco today. It's located in Dublin, California (www.casaorozco.com). We were tired and hungry. We decided to give it a try. The food was just like Lagoa Charlie's. The Margaritas were "out of this world!" The walls were adorned with pictures from Mexico from the wild time of the revolution including a number of Pancho Villa. What a wonderful surprise to get back a beautiful part of your life that seemed to be gone forever. The Terminator has some words that apply here:
