I hate people like this. I understand desperate times, but no one is that desperate that they could ever be justified in doing 10s of thousands of dollars damage for a $50 benefit. I have no pity.

I had rentals that they would steal our hot water heaters. Same situation, they could make $100, but my cost was $1,200. It is actually fun to evict people like that.

Disgusting. Two high freeway flyovers recently had all the upgraded LEDs stop working; actually one bridge had 4 in a row strangely blinking on in sequence for a few days before going completely dark. Later, driving by during daylight, I could see the access plates on the poles and over the concrete embedded boxes crudely pried and broken open with wire stubs hanging out. It looked like they used rocks for tools.

Also knew some musicians who rented a cheap lot in the South LA ghetto for rehearsal space. There was a huge problem with people climbing on the roofs at night and destroying a $10,000 A/C unit for $40 worth of copper, sometimes days after it had been replaced due to another theft. I think "lying in wait" in this case should be considered not for a penalty enhancement but a good citizen award.

No one wants to hear this, but the truth is that these crimes are all done by blacks. If you want to avoid crime, then avoid black people. Screaming racism will not change this fact.

I once had cat converters stolen from my truck. $4K in damage for about $100 they'd fetch at a scrap yard. Thank God I didn't catch them in the act....

It would be really nice if more of them got electrocuted. Sadly, it's a quick death.
