Ck out the weather girls video on the link above

"The sun is approaching a grand minimum in about 30 years, which should help but actually will not totally make up for our human caused climate change"

The sun should help but wont totally make up for our human caused global warming climate change.
The narrative is shifting toward a little ice age.

See how the sun totally defeats our attempt to warm this planet? There are bigger forces than man controlling the universe. Sure we can pollute and poison our environment but the sun is the dominant factor in the earth's temperature.

Please drop the propaganda that scares little kids and emphasize how we can and have adapted to what nature throws at us.

Sure it's easy to adapt: install solar panels, buy an electric car, reduce plane travels, etc...
The problem is some people refuse to adapt.

Al Gore - ice free arctic in 2013
Flaming Duck - ice free arctic in 2021
Guy heyyou linked - human extinction as soon as 2030
All of these people were brave enough to predict catastrophe from co2 heating the planet within our lifetime.
Other alarmists (see Weather's article above) see that the solar minimum is influencing the climate but claim that it will just "slow down" global warming for a few decades.

The new alarmist rant is "2 degrees by the end of the century means catastrophe for your progeny! Don't you love your grandchildren?"

And can we give global warming a rest until spring? There is snow on the bay area mountains and talking about how all the north pole ice is melting as it is increasing makes alarmists look ignorant.

No, the deniers that don't understand trends and changes in ice volume are the ones who look ignorant.

I think it is the alsrmists who should feel humbled. When islands truly are submerged, when you have real climate change refugees, when the poles really do melt, when you can actually show me a picture of real sea level rise, or any other alarmist prediction that actually came true, maybe there will be a real issue to discuss. Until then, for me, man made climate change will remain in the unproven pile. It is borderline in the disproven pile, but I keep an open mind.

Fact, CO2 represents zero threat to humans and is appreciated by our plant friends.

Most people can't abstain from jamming a cheeseburger into their mouth while applying for a loan to spend money they don't have. Getting them to delay gratification in their own life for tangible and obvious benefits to themselves and their children 20 yrs down the line is very difficult to do.

Getting people to change behaviors for the health of the planet in 100 yrs is apparently a bridge too far. The odd thing to me is how much work people go to to convince themselves that AGW theory is wrong, so that they don't have to feel bad about their decisions or to imagine that their team is correct.

This is the thing with denialists. They think scientists are idiots. They think they are smarter than anyone, even though they mostly ignore the details of the greenhouse effect, the absorption bands of CO2 vs H2O, The mathematics involved, the amplifying role of H2O, the fact that it is observed directly by measuring radiations reflected by the atmosphere, or outgoing from the atmosphere, by temp measurements, and confirmed by other observations like the faster warming at night, at the poles etc...
And then there are the confusions about the normal CO2 cycle: "Oh no we exhale CO2", but "hey plants consume it".

The sun warms the planet. Co2 is a trace gas that has little effect on climate compared to the sun and water vapor.
The alarmist arguments are weak and will be further debunked over time.

Actually, a group of them are sophisticated con-men riding a cash cow. I have a better prediction batting average than all of the alarmists, so how can they claim to be smarter than me? Honestly, how can the side that has been conclusively proven to have failed through predictive theory still claim that they understand something?
