CAPE TOWN, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- The National Assembly on Tuesday agreed to the principle of the expropriation of land without compensation.

However, the expropriation of land must be conducted within the context of ensuring food security, economic growth and radical economic transformation, said Nonceba Mhlauli, spokesperson of the African National Congress (ANC) in Parliament.

The National Assembly accepted amendments tabled by the ANC, according to Mhlauli.

Under the ANC amendments, the Constitutional Review Committee of Parliament will review Section 25 of the Constitution and other clauses where necessary to sufficiently cater for the principle of land expropriation without compensation, said Mhlauli.

The Committee has been directed to prioritize this issue and report back to Parliament by August 30 this year.

The move by the National Assembly is in line with the resolution of the 54th National Conference of the ANC late last year which resolved that the ANC should, as a matter of policy, pursue expropriation of land without compensation.

The ANC conference, however, stressed that land expropriation without compensation should be pursued without destabilizing the agricultural sector, endangering food security in the country, or undermining economic growth and job creation.

Looks like some Whites are going to be culturally enriched, and some ANC MPs personally enriched.

Don't expect a peep from the usual "Human Rights" crowd.

White South Africans must defend themselves by any means necessary, if they haven't banned guns yet.

Another Bill that just passed:

Blacks only need 40% in "Home Language", 30% in most subjects, and only 20% in Math. And they'll be guaranteed a college seat.

South Africa is an ethnostate.

Honestly, they fucked up when they handed their country over to the blacks by giving them the vote. Apartheid was the most humanitarian way of governing a country of tribals. You can’t afford to put the tribals in charge, or they’ll just implement tribal policies which start with getting rid of non-tribals (whites) and end with the typical tribal situation (extreme permanent poverty).

So South Africa went from being a racist economic success under apartheid to being a racist shithole post apartheid.

What they really should have done was to create different classes for the blacks, escalating their station based on achievement and honor. The best blacks could have graduated up the ladder to full citizens and then looked down their noses at the rest of them. Offering a subjugated people a ladder to climb out of subjugation is a tactic to bring them to your side and quell insubordination. It works pretty well in the USA!

Dutton looks to help South African farmers

Australia is investigating what visas can be offered to white South African farmers who are facing violence and land seizures at home.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton believes the farmers deserve "special attention" and need help from a "civilised country" like Australia.

"If you look at the footage and read the stories, you hear the accounts, it's a horrific circumstance they face," Mr Dutton told the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday.

"We have the potential to help some of these people that are being persecuted."

He has directed the Home Affairs department to explore whether the farmers can be accepted into Australia through refugee, humanitarian or other visas, including the in-country persecution visa category.

"I do think on the information that I've seen, people do need help, and they need help from a civilised country like ours," Mr Dutton said.

The minister said it was clear the farmers in question wanted to work hard and contribute to countries like Australia.

"We want people who want to come here, abide by our laws, integrate into our society, work hard, not lead a life on welfare," he said.

"And I think these people deserve special attention and we're certainly applying that special attention now."

Mr Dutton suggested an announcement could be made soon.

"We're just looking at the moment at what might be feasible and hopefully we'll make an announcement in due course," he said.
