It's sad how the Democrats have turned against US citizens, helping employers push down US wages with 20 million illegal immigrants.

And the SEIU, which pushed AB 450 and associated bills very hard.

What are they fighting for?
Pure GDP growth?
Pure supply chain efficiency for the sake of efficiency?
The wealth of a few plutocrats?
The fortunes of multinationals?

Surely a bit less of the above is compatible with a larger share for the average American.

Whatever is expedient!

Even if there were 12 million illegals that's not even close to 20 million.
Were does the 20 million figure come from?

If the democrats are so bad on illegal Immigration then why did the number of illegal immigrants go down between 2009 and 2015?

Also, only half of the illegal immigrants are from Mexico. How is a wall going to stop the other half that doesn't come from Mexico?

The statistics come from Pew research center. I know it's hard to believe Obama was tough on illegal Immigration. It is the reality that people don't want to give him credit for. I'd bet that every illegal Obama deported cost half as much as the ones Trump is deporting

Actually says it in the link. I guess when people are lied to constantly by their politicians they start to believe the lies.

It did, where did that come from?

Indeed, U.S. Border Patrol Local 2544 stated in July of 2005:
“There are currently 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country by many estimates, but the real numbers could be much higher and the numbers increase every day because our borders are not secure (no matter what the politicians tell you—don’t believe them for a second).

Nancy Boulton observes that:
Estimates of the size of the illegal alien population currently living in the U.S. range from about 12 million to over 20 million. The lower number is based on Census Bureau estimates of the foreign-born population in various Census Bureau surveys. The larger number is based on methodology that is not reliant on a respondent’s candor... it is virtually impossible to get an accurate count of populations who are resistant to being identified. Given the problem of porous borders and incentives to avoid detection, the higher estimate is not unreasonable.

Alternative methodologies
Alternative methodologies conclude that between 20 million and 40 million illegal aliens have evaded apprehension and live in the United States.

If even one person is successful for every apprehension, it implies over 1 million foreigners per year illegally cross our southern border. In addition, there are roughly 30 million foreign nationals admitted to the U.S. each year on temporary visas.

So, in 12 years you think the counts have gone DOWN??

Yes, we can't believe the guys actually stationed on the border who sees the crap every day. We should believe politicians instead, right?

But we should believe Pew, who titles the article "5 FACTS about illegal immigration in the U.S.", (and leans left in their politics).

They claim the article is FACTS, but then uses the term "ESTIMATES" 600 times in the article. Yep, makes perfect sense.
