Even though there was a secure incumbent, Ted Cruz, the Primary featured about 50% more Republican participation than Democrats.

It would take a double digit percentage shift in party alignment to make Texas Blue this November 2018.

Despite Democrats being "motivated" with Donald Hate.

Call it the Blue Flush.

All those donors loaded up Hillary with $1.3B but didn't get shit for it. She spent pretty much all the money and lost, and they got jack shit for it.

Plus, their big Hollywood Bundling Cheerleader is facing lawsuits up the wazoo and resigned from his company.

Not Good.

The real blue wave:

DNC raises $67 million in 2017, half of RNC’s haul
The Democratic National Committee saw a fundraising uptick, but is not close to keeping pace with its GOP counterpart.

The Democratic National Committee will report raising $5.2 million in December, bringing its total 2017 fundraising to $67 million, according to paperwork that will be filed Wednesday.

That figure includes $1.2 million raised by the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee between the national and state parties launched in October, and over $30 million in grass-roots donations —averaging $21 dollars each — overall.

The total is slightly ahead of the party's haul in 2013 and 2015, the previous off-years when Democrats had the benefit of a president from their party in the White House. It's far behind the behind the $108 million that the DNC raised in 2011, however.

It also badly trails the Republican National Committee, which raised $11.1 million in December for a 2017 total of $132.5 million.

The RNC has $38.8 million cash on hand. The DNC will report $6.5 million cash on hand, but its debt is now $6.2 million.

lol @ anyone who thinks Texas turns Blue.

I would be more worried about Claire McCaskill (Mo), Joe Donnelly (Ind), Heidi Heitkamp (ND), Jon Tester (Montana), Bill Nelson (Fla.), Bob Casey Jr. (Pa.), Tammy Baldwin (Wis.), Debbie Stabenow (Mich.) and Sherrod Brown (Ohio) who are all trying to get re-elected in Trump 2016 states, some of which he won by nearly 20 points.

I would add Joe Manchin (WV) to that list but he's turned into a closet conservative and has been highly supportive of Trump's agenda on Taxes and immigration, he knows how to keep his job (though I'm not sure it will help in November).

You don't understand, Goran. It was confusion over the Democratic Candidate's name, a guy named "Robert O'Rouke" who calls himself "Beto", a popular Mexican nickname.

Here's NPR's attempt to spin the huge disparity in party turnout (1.5:1, despite a safe Republican Incumbent) as a big gain for the Democrats.

He's going to check the proverbial tea leaves before the next election, and then decide if he wants to run as a Democrat or Republican.

There was this one person here that actually thought that Georgia might turn blue in the last election.

Yeah I’m thinking the same thing too. He knows his goose is cooked if he joins up with schumer and Pelosi so he may be just picking the winning team to keep his seat.

NPR, the same "credible" news agency that claimed the leaked audio of Trump "grabbing pussy" would almost assure a Clinton Victory.

What I don't understand, is why our government paying NPR, it's a private enterprise (left wing), let them make it on their own.
