This is what comes when you allow right wing to characterize any form of regulation as communism.
Meh, it’s the glut of kids who want to work at Disneyland that’s the problem. They are too young and too idealistic to understand economics and just want to be part of the “magic.” That’s why Disneyland never has a problem filling jobs at low wages. Plenty of idiots ready to fill them!
CovfefeButDeadly saysregulation would do is see Disney raise the already obscene prices
only if people pay them.

This is correct. All that regulation would do is see Disney raise the already obscene prices even more.

Apparently you have not seen how crowded Disneyland is.
Three-quarters of Disneyland employees don’t earn enough for basic expenses, one in 10 have experienced homelessness

Yes.
And a another great portion of how they develop the mentality is that their moron elders keep telling them "You can do anything you want." and "Find a job you love." repeatedly.
Well, lots of kids like Disney and McDonalds and Sociology, so they take the advice literally.
And 16-19 year olds have so little life experience, especially if they grew up in the burbs, to vet that moronic advice.
Previous generations would have said "That doesn't pay. Pick something else or you'll screw up your chances in life, kid."

Some entry-level jobs are meant for teens and young adults who are supposed to be still living at home.
Raising wage requirement for those jobs to a level where the workers can pay for an independent household would mean that most youths wouldn't be able to find a job before mutually self-defeating degree requirement instead of easy first-jobs! That is actually a very dangerous development: instead being in entry-level jobs and learning first-hand how to satisfy customers, they'd be stuck in "colleges" learning Cultural Marxist nonsense inflating their egos while making them unemployable due to lack of real skills and huge educational debt . . . those would be like tinder piling up for a firestorm, leading to massive social upheval.
Raskolnikov the unemployable law student in "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoyevsky was a classic on the intellectual mileu of pre-revolutionary Russia. In real history, Robspirre, the leader of French Revolutionary Terror, was student repr...

Have they considered looking for work elsewhere..? Because as we all know the economy is booming, and recession long gone.
Disney makes most of its money these days from movies and from its parks. Profit margin is not the issue. They actively raise prices to regulate the flow of traffic. Priced too low: traffic is too high/unmanageable. Priced too high: traffic is too low. They are constantly raising prices to find that “magic” point where people complain about the ticket price but still buy the ticket... the ones who can afford it that is. Don’t need no poor people in th magic kingdom!
Unless, of course, they are the serfs making lunch or sweeping up after the guests.

Regulation is the only thing that stops greed from becoming murder, of course the murder will be seen as the corpse's fault to protect the racket.
These facts are basic and were known a hundred years ago.

It can be you that gets the shaft next.
