I just read an interesting phrase:

It's useful to explore the "intellectual dark web": Sam Harris, Joe Rogan, Jocko Willink, Tim Ferriss. The business equivalents are people like Peter Thiel, Jason Calacanis, Vitalik Buterin, Auren Hoffman.

I have read things by some of them already, and like them, so I'm starting a list of quality sites that the mainstream finds heretical:

https://samharris.org/
https://www.joerogan.com/
http://jockopodcast.com/
https://tim.blog/
(Peter Thiel doesn't seem to have a site)
http://calacanis.com/
https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin
https://twitter.com/auren

What other people do you think have good or at least interesting ideas that will never be in NPR?

I have a fantasy of collecting a big enough list and enough funding to start an alternative radio station so that people can start to see how much NPR is censoring broadcast of the important ideas of the current day.

Jordan Peterson, obviously. I very recently heard that expression for the first time too. I guess it's been around a while. Looking it up, I see this:

Weinstein brothers -- not those bothers -- the other ones, Eric (mathematican)
and Bret (of Evergreen State fame).

I've been listening to Joe Rogan's Podcast for the past 8 years. His guests and the conversations they have had have really opened my eyes to very different viewpoints on every spectrum and has made me much more open to differing viewpoints.

Censoring??? How can anything be censored in the internet/cable age? That is a batshit crazy idea. Deep state tin foil hat paranoid idea. Lack of interest isn't the same as censored. No one cares enough to bother with ideas, they just want to be told what to think. So they tune into fox or cnn end enjoy the propaganda indoctrination. At least half the posters here are living examples proving it every single day.

I wish I had the time to sit around and make YouTube videos giving commentary in real time while listening to their show.
The games they play in every single segment they do, there isn't one single ounce of raw unfettered journalism in any of it at any given time. Never.

They don't even take live calls. They tell you what the topics are going to be for a future show, then ask listeners to call in and leave a message. How can one even say that the actual takes used in the show were even actual callers. Most of the time they are so painfully obviously scripted. Their callers turned on them starting the end of last year. Their choir doesn't echo chamber their sentiment all the time. So now they fake it.

ROFLOL. This is censoring? I didn't read the part in the constitution about live calls. Want to post it up for us?

Funny stuff TBP. Keep up the laughs.
