The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove. ...

Following Mueller’s invasion of the office and home of Trump’s personal lawyer, voters increasingly believe Mueller’s probe is politically biased. But they also tend to think he is unlikely to nail the president for anything criminal.

So it looks like the witch-hunt mentality in the press is backfiring, and actually increasing support for Trump.

Real Politics have it at 42.

538 has it at 40.3.

Those are both based on averages of several of the most legit polls, including Rassmussen.

You may believe that the polls are rigged against your guy, but the most objective view would still be be to look at all the poll results.

This from the trumpets who have been telling us all along how polls are meaningless. You can't have it both ways.

Any poll, even the Rasmussen one, will be wrong because of the politically incorrectness of supporting our President. Many people who do approve, or think things are going alright under Trump, will be hesitant to say so in public or on a poll. This fact was born out in the difference between poll results pre-election and the actual election results where people could ANONYMOUSLY make their actual decision.

If a major poll has Trump at 51%, chances are it’s five points higher.

Update: 51% approval among Likely Voters

It's almost as if more and more people aren't letting the Media frame the narrative for them. How could they do this to their moral and intellectual betters?

You are mistaken. The polls arent meaningless. They are inaccurate, sure, but while they are poor at giving a snapshot sentiment, they are a good measuring CHANGE.

I'd suggest that when Trump was elected, he was right around a 50% approval. Rasmussen had him at 56% approval in January, probably a few % points too high. Assuming a similar bias, I'd assume Trump's actual approval is around 47% today.

HOWEVER, the undeniable change has been positive over the last 8 months. This MSM witchHUNT is decaying their reputation on a daily basis. This is an ENORMOUS benefit of the Trump presidency.

Rasmussen is a historically right-leaning poll. As marcus stated above, looking at RealPolitics or 538 probably gives a better snapshot of public sentiment. That being said, public approval polls are by and large meaningless wastes of time. Trump could have a 0% rating, or a 100% rating, and it's doesn't matter- unless he's in the process of being impeached, he's still commander in chief for roughly the next 2 and a half years. Public sentiment may affect his 'political capital' in DC, and his ability (or lack thereof) to enact policy due to congress feeling pressure from their constituencies, but he still has veto power and he's still the head of the GOP, for better or for worse.

Trump is 100% President and Comey and Hitlery is NOT!

I feel good about that.

Bigger picture? Doesn't matter. We are still on a trajectory, last I checked lobbyists and corporations run the oligarchy.

Where did I say the polls are meangless? The trumptards have been screaming polls are meangless when they didn't like the numbers, but now they have polls they like polls have meaning again.

The polls never were meaningless. They were just badly skewed by over-the-top media hype and overt shaming of anyone suspected to agree with Trump about anything. People generally do what’s in their own personal best interest. Telling pollsters about their deep abiding love for an Orange Manhattan mogul carried some risk, a risk that some people didn’t want to take.

Trump is up to 40%. Must be spring love in the air. Perhaps his gay support is because he triggers their gaydar - just a little. Nothing wrong with that. Just offering a possible reason.
If Willie was the first black president, Bush was the last Republican president, and Obama was the first half black Kenyan unicorn president, then Trump can be our first gay president.
