Last July, an imam at the Davis Islamic Center in Northern California preached Jews were contaminating Muslim shrines with their “filth” and called for their genocide. “Oh, Allah, count them one by one and annihilate them down to the very last one,” Imam Ammar Shahin fumed in his sermon, the Los Angeles Times reported. Shahin later apologized after a videotaped excerpt was translated, saying he let his emotions “cloud my better judgment.”

Terror experts say such hateful rhetoric is more common in US mosques than generally understood, and they blame the Obama administration’s gutting of mosque surveillance programs for the growing belligerence. The NYPD also ended its surveillance program in 2014 following complaints by Muslim groups.

free speech?

Once the SJW's are done with white men, the Jews are next. It sucks because as a whole the Jewish people are pretty awesome. Smart, studious, industrious. About the only things dumb US Jewish people have done is to forsake their cultures religious beliefs and vote for Demoncrats.

Imam Ammar Shahin graduate of Al-Azhar University in Cairo, the world's center of Sunni learning. The same university that awarded a PhD with honors in 1971 to the blind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, who was responsible for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

I wonder who is funding this sunni radical iman? I'll bet some of he funding comes from a country that rhymes with gaudy.

What a quaint old fashioned idea.

Meaning he apologized for having been caught expressing his real thoughts on the subject.

The second part of the name rhymes a bit with "Barbaria"

The truth is there isn't an Imam on the planet who loves the Jews. You can't keep reading the Koran without hating and wanting to kill the Jews.

I'm just saying: if it's a good idea to have neo-nazis have free speech, the same courtesy applies to islamo-fascists.
Incidentally I do think free speech is almost always better.
But there is something to be said about limiting enemy propaganda.

Why isn't he the target of protests by the left wingers? Why aren't they calling him a racist, a bigot, and an asshole?
Where are the calls for his deportation? Deport him along with that professor bitch who has tenure. Tenure won't help if they kick out these terrorists from the country.

Oh that's already happening. The hilarious thing is that SJWs are triggering White Supremacists by asserting that since Ashkenazi can often pass as White, they are therefore beneficiaries of White Privilege and need to Check It. And even funnier - many of the SJWs are bozo snooty Coastie Secular Jews.

"Help me check my Toxic Masculinity and White Privilege, because I can pass for a White Male."

I agree, Free Speech is great. However, the Supremes have never ruled that laws excluding immigrants based on political views was outside the purview or the US Government. So we can refuse foreign born Anarchists, Communists, and Islamic Fundamentalists citizenship or residency.

Same background as Linda Cockroach Sarsour, another 2nd Gen Paleban migrant. The Paleban pretty much hate every country that takes them in.

Natural fit for Anti-Westernism because they're both Arab, Muslim, and 70s Style "Third World" Left Wing. The BBC was all Gaga (Gaza?) over some Palestinian Hip Hop Artist who grew up in Britain - and then discovered at University she was a Paleban, and that Oppression credit could power a career. Forget her name.

Kuwait had trouble with it's Paleban, because they supported Saddam in his 1991 invasion. And of course the Paleban fueled the Lebanese Civil War by tilting the scales to Arab Muslims.

Speaking of which, there's an upcoming election there. Watch Hezbollah closely, the Mullahs' last big pressure group. Word is there's a lot of Gulf Special Forces being hidden in Lebanon in case Hezbollah gets saucy in defeat.

Interesting, both your examples are anti-Jew. Don't think you are biased, just freaky examples.

Neonazi citizens are citizens. Immigrants do not have the same rights til fully naturalized. And even then they cannot become president. Secondly most white preservationists these days fight for the right of white only association and not - unlike certain other groups - for world domination. For example the Boer just want to live amongst themselves but let others live in their respective territories. They don't come into foreign countries and start wars on the resident citizens. We call those enemy combatants and they don't have many rights.

"Under the imminent lawless action test, speech is not protected by the First Amendment if the speaker intends to incite a violation of the law that is both imminent and likely."

Promoting genocide sounds a lot more like incitement than free speech.

Actually, when one applies for US visa, there are interesting questions re. persons past. For example, "have you ever been a member of or involved with a paramilitary, vigilante, guerilla group"; "are you a member of a terrorist organization"; "have you ever incited...a genocide". I am sure these fine Palestinian ladies/preachers have violated many of those, and thus they can have their visas revoked.

Jews are interesting and you can say lots of good and bad things about them. My maternal grandfather was Jewish and a really great guy, smart and funny and empathetic. He was also a bookie and involved in notoriously corrupt Chicago politics. He had a day job as a court bailiff in the Daley Building in downtown Chicago and the judges there would place their bets through him, which is pretty amusing actually.

Jews did face discrimination 100 years ago, but like black people, they still find benefit in claiming discrimination where the opposite is more true these days. Jews are now the wealthiest and most powerful ethnic group per person, owning about one third of US assets in spite of being about 2% of the population. We can argue about the exact percentage owned, but just look at the number of billionaires (about 35% of the Forbes lists) and the fraction of Ivy League undergrads (about a third again).

The relation between Islam and Judaism is especially interesting. The religions are quite similar in their distaste for outsiders and in their basic theology (aside from Mohammed). Islam is a simplified and universalized form of Judaism, but also far more violent. Islam hates Judaism because the mere existence of the older religion undermines the legitimacy of Islam when people see that it's basically just a copy.

A Jewish guy at work once asked me why Jews were so into minority rights in the US but not at all in Israel. Duh, the answer is obvious: Jews are a small minority in America and see their own interests being protected when they advocate strong protection for minorities. In Israel, Jews are the majority and so do not feel the same identification with minorities there.

Agreed with much of what you say but disputing this.

SJWs are on the march in Israel. Haaretz used to be mildly left of center, now it's the Guardian of Israel that wrings it's hands about literally everything. Haaretz was all like "No, you can't send the African migrants away..." (these aren't the Eithiopian Jews, just random Africans that showed up on the border over the Sinai) and runs crybully pieces about the Vietnamese-ISraeli minority, where the chief complaint is "People keep asking me where I'm from."

In foreign policy, Israel is definitely interested in minorities and sidelined palces, out of shared interest. The Kurds for one in particular.

You're right, there is a big SJW contingent in Israel, but I tend to see them as mostly composed of the Americans that moved there, bringing the American Jewish attitude.

The typical Israeli, in my experience, is far more to the right than the typical American Jew.

I'd say it's originated in a PoMo EuroLeft Atmosphere. Most of the whingers-authors of Haaretz are Israelis of 1st or 2nd Gen EuroCommies from Britain, the old Czechoslovakia, France.

Not that secular American Jews are much better.

Unfortunately their parents came in the 70s wave, when Congress under Carter/Reagan gave them FREE scholarships and married graduate housing, where they reproduced like rabbits. My father was SUNY Staff and all they would do is pop out babies in Married Grad Housing, free Uni Hospital care, and protest, many bomb threats, too, and carry placards of Plane Hijackers.

They also claimed poverty for food stamps, while receiving Western Union remittances from their families/government back in Egypt/Jordan.

Ms. Sarsour, I believe, was not born in US? With respect to US born radicals, they should be free to spew whatever hate they want, just as neo-Nazis do. It would be nice though if the radical Islam would be treated the same way as Nazis by the media.

I also wish that the press would be honest about the striking similarities between the two ideologies.

Offensive speech is the only free speech needing protection. But I'd draw the line at advocating violence. That's out of bounds.

I don't know whether she came as a very young child or was born here, but that timeframe is on target: late 70s.
