Virginia Heffernan is a journalist, critic and author, most recently, of MAGIC AND LOSS: The Internet as Art (Simon & Schuster, 2016). She is a contributing editor at WIRED, a cohost of Slate's Trumpcast podcast, and a columnist at the Los Angeles Times.
"Contributing Editor" at Wired, and she's complaining the Media isn't going after Trump hard enough while working for no less than 3 major media outlets.
Most importantly, she calls herself a journalist. In fact, it's her first descriptive word:
Now every story in the mainstream press seems to be shrill hatred for Trump regardless of what he actually accomplishes.
"Sure I called the last President daddy and this President a rapist stepfather. That doesn't mean my journalism is at all tinged. The real question is how we can combat Fake News."
