Most importantly, she calls herself a journalist. In fact, it's her first descriptive word:

I'm also saddened at the abandonment of impartiality by the press.

Not in my experience though. During my life, the press mostly at least gave a convincing pretense of being impartial.

I was reading a Vanity Fair piece about Elon Musk and AI. Even though it couldn't have been more than 1500 words, guess who was mentioned, even though it had nothing to do with him.

It's really goddamn boring, obsessive. I'm obsessed over how obsessive the obsession is, and I really need to take a break for a while.
