Mexican human trafficker speeds through US border checkpoint at 100mph, seriously injures agent

A Mexican illegal immigrant, who sped through a US Border Patrol checkpoint and seriously hurt an agent, was sentenced on Friday to 30 months in prison.

Terrifying video footage shows 28-year-old Jorge Garcia-Osornio's car speeding through the Pine Valley, California checkpoint in November 2017.

It shows Garcia-Osornio's car crashing a steel-framed stop sign as the federal agent jumps out of the way. Border officials said Garcia was illegally in the US.
