Excellent video.

She was extremely lucky to be alive, if that guy had been the typical robber around here, she would be dead, along with several of those others around her.

She pulled out a gun and shot and he didn't flinch. We've had people go to hand over watches and the sudden movement was enough to be shot.

Normally people who yank guns here, end up dead. They get so excited to yank a gun, they forget to ask themselves if it's an appropriate time to do it.

She had the gun concealed never warned the guy just pumped 3 rounds into him.
We need more cops like her.

In CA blm riots would be all over this. That’s how stupid left is these days.

Spinal cord shot. That guy is going to be in a wheel chair for the rest of his life, occasionally shitting himself. Hopefully it was worth it for him.

No reason to save a life of a man who tried to rob women and children at gunpoint. He was put down like the fucking animal that he was.

Uh no. Most people who carry concealed have taken a CCW course and have practiced a draw, fire cycle THOUSANDS of times (I know I have). She actually fumbled her draw because she was digging in her purse which is an awkward position to draw a pistol (but at least she carried in Condition 0 so that give her precious milliseconds).

With an IWB holster, and a Glock 19, I would have put 10 rounds into that assholes torso before he hit the ground.

Two of the shots were point heart shots, the first or 2nd were the killers, probably the first, third shot was kind of a lobber, she went right for the kill, he probably had no intention of shooting anyone himself, as he was using the gun for more of a display, but that's how it goes, she's trained to kill under those circumstances and that's what she did.

She made the remark that if he knew she was police, he would have shot her to kill right away. Their cops and robbers scenarios are all shoot to kill on both sides there.

U sure? The article says she had to load the damn thing before firing. Not clear what exactly "load" means in this case, most probably "chamber the round from already inserted loaded mag".

Watch the video, the clip was in it, you can see both her arms and elbows move to cock it, it's probably a glock 9 mm based on the recoil I saw, maybe a 45, which both takes a bit of effort to pull the chamber back which loads the bullet. Typically you don't want to keep a round chambered with your glock because it has no safety mechanism, it's totally a chick gun but now all the police carry them, because well.. No sooner, she took the clear shot, bang, bang, two heart shots, then as she runs away from him while he's on the ground she lobs one last shot in to his chest again. Who knows what the laws are in Brazil, on carrying loaded but not chambered, we cannot see what she was doing prior because she had not come into the camera angle yet.

That's true, Brazil is full of people who have never had 2nd amendment rights.

Totally disagree. There are numerous "safety mechanisms", drop safety, an external trigger safety, and a firing pin safety. Glocks are completely safe and easy to deploy if you are trained in their usage. I've carried a Glock 19 for 2 years with no negligent discharges and literally thousands of draw/fire cycles.

Anyone who doesn't carry with one in the chamber is at a severe disadvantage in an actual confrontation.

Interesting bit about Brazilian gun laws from Wiki:

"In 2005, a majority of Brazil's population voted against banning the sale of guns and ammunition to civilians in a referendum. However, the Brazilian Department of Justice (Ministério da Justiça), which performs each individual's mandatory background check (which is made prior every gun acquisition, and every three years after it is acquired, which allows gun confiscation at the discretion of authorities), have been forbidding almost every citizen from buying guns,[8][9] based on the Executive Order # 5.123, of 07/01/2004 (Decreto n.º 5.123, de 1º de julho de 2004),[10] which allows the Federal Police to analyze the given reasons for owning a gun, under which "self defense" is not considered a valid reason because there are allegedly sufficient public police officers to maintain nationwide security.[11]

Thus, disarmament is effectively happening in Brazil,[12] as are massive gun confiscations,[13] notwithstanding its refusal by Brazilian people (at the referendum of 2005)."

I'm glad the Federal government has kept Brazil gun free and safe with its executive orders.

Video is hard to tell, maybe she was trying to rack a round into the chamber, it looked like she was struggling to get it out of her purse, but I guess she could've been trying to rack one.

If that is the case, she's very lucky the gun man was slow to react. One of my worst nightmares as a concealed carrier is drawing a weapon without one in the chamber.

That's unfortunate, but not unexpected. The shot that dropped him had the effect of a CNS shot. It was instantly devastating.

Keep it simple by following the rule: if the gun is not disassebled for cleaning it's loaded with one in the chamber. This way there is no guessing (or fucking "brass-checking") when you pick up the gun.
