Who knows ? There's nothing Trump wants more than he wants inflation. Maybe that's what this whole frenzy about immigrants was about all along. I wish I thought for a moment that real incomes were going to keep up.

I wouldn't vote for him, but give him some credit for trying to get Americans to work, problem is, he is not a friend of labor in the broader sense. The middle and lower classes will continue to be squeezed. All the richies want inflation, most hold greater debt piles and are becoming wiser to owning tangible assets. Germany wants inflation, thus negative interest rates for them. Thats kind of where we are all headed.

The middle class is growing. More people are working now than in a long time wages will continue to rise.
Interest inflation is a friend of the middle class. But we've got to get banks back to paying savers. We need to pry our ecconomic well being from our employer's and regain control.
Health Insurance or a health system you don't get from your employer. And 3 and 4% interest yields from the bank. I'm old enough to remember when even Janitors did well for them self when that was the case.

I presume you are referring to the post that includes a positive view on rising interest rates. If so, it seems you would be of the view that low interest rates spur investment and that cheap long term debt is beneficial for homeowners.

I would like to see higher interest rates to reward savers and bring down house prices. Houses are sold on monthly payment, and for the same monthly payment, it is better tho have a lower price and a higher interest rate. That makes it easier for extra principle payment to retire the mortgage. All super low interest rates do is punish savers and inflate stock and house prices.

I'm of the view that these things are far from simple.

Real interest rates (the difference between interest rates and inflation) have been low to negative for a while now. If a couple of years from now we have 6 percent interest rates with 8 percent inflation this would be a very very very very bad thing. But it would be good for Trump personally. Well good relative to his personal wealth. Who knows, if it happens maybe Brietbart can find a way to put the blame on the liberals.

Fake News ! Alarmist !

Those massive middle class tax cuts will cover this and more - just watch and see.

Btw you forgot to mention those pesky rising gas prices...guess the tax cut will cover that increase as well for Middle America's unpaid for shiny new SUVs that get shitty gas mileage.

Somehow it seems this movie has been seen before in the not too distant past....if only I could remember where.

The conspirators are all around you, smiling to lure you in, carefully choosing their words and watching your reactions as they push your buttons, anxiously waiting for the moment when you sign the papers that will trap you and guarantee their payoff. Don't be just another victim of the housing market. Use this book to defend your freedom and defeat their schemes. You can win the game, but first you have to learn how to play it.
